AMG posers
Hey guys.
Actually the convertible CLK63's only have one twin tailpipe.
The CLK63 Coupe, however, has two twin tailpipes.
I believe it has something to do with strengthening beams in the convertible that make having two twin tailpipes hard to fashion.
http://autobazar.automix.centrum.cz/...49774368709358 - 2009 E-class. This things seems to have everything which would make it a AMG EXCEPT last time I checked they don't make 3.5L diesel 4-matic e-class!
Really hate when MB sells these AMG styling kits! Not AMG issue, http://autobazar.automix.centrum.cz/...41025222681444 but since when did they make a 2006 GL500? As far as I aware the 500 only came in 2008 in Europe (550 in US)

I personally don't have any issue with you wanting to part your car out with AMG parts as this is your choice. There are alot of people who would love to see a AWD AMG car but alas they don't make it. If AWD is requried why not get a ML63?

I believe that the 1994 320 had amg trim, similar to the 430/209 model but it was not built by amg nor perform like an amg.
This thread has been devoted to people who put an amg badge on a car that was not produced by amg. regardless of the trim packages that have been added to the car.

First off, dont site information from wikipedia. who knows what type of bs is on there. I think you mean 430/w208. w209 is 500-550

When we order a car from MB with the AMG package, the car actually goes to AMG and has all the parts installed there.
The vehicle doesn't "go" anywhere. Only the AMG engines are produced in Affalterbach. After the engines are assembled they are shipped to the specific Mercedes-Benz factory where the vehicle type for a specific AMG engine is being manufactured. The AMG engine and parts are then added to the vehicle as it is being assembled on the regular production line, along with all of the other production vehicles.

There is a small area at Affalterbach where special modifications are made to customers vehicles. But this is done after the car has been completed at one of the regular Mercedes-Benz assembly plants. The types of modifications that are done here are the addition of special bespoke interiors, special racing suspension, limited slip differentials, fuel cells, fire suppression systems, and racing seats (such as the Asia Cup SLK). You can find a list of services that they can perform there at http://www.mercedes-amg.de. There usually is a listing of services and prices for the services that are available. Unfortunately, for those of us who live in the U.S., Mercedes-AMG will not do any of these appearance or tuning modifications to any vehicle that has as U.S. VIN, even if you were to have your vehicle shipped to them in Germany.
