PRE-SAFE inoperative + other + Comand will turn off
Hi Guys
Randomly, I do have this message where Pre-safe ....
it often come with another problem, i saw ; Cruise control don't work, adaptative light turned off, and each time, the radio will turn off !
After a couple of minutes.... the comand radio ( 4.5) turn on again and all seems to be ok !
no other light, no check engine... Steering work perfect, brake too .. etc .. .! :/
I headed that some connector should be cleaned... but, never saw another one with the radio you close .. :/
Any idea ?

I'm sorry I don't speak French, but the following content from the U.S. owner's manual is based on Google translations of your screen shots.
PRE-SAFE ne fonctionne pas cf. notice d'uilisation ("Pre-Safe does not work see operating instructions")
There are numerous threads devoted to this topic, although none seem to agree on the cause:
https://mbworld.org/forums/w213-amg/...ge-screen.html
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...rs-manual.html
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...lp-needed.html
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...operative.html
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...operative.html
Assistant adapt. feux route ne fonctionne pas ("adapted Wizard. road lights not working")
This issue is discussed in the following thread and seems to be a bit more conclusive than for the one above:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...operative.html
Good luck!

Thanks !
I'll have a look .. Whats weird and different in my case, is that the Comand Close in the same time, and impossible to open it by myself... it pop up few minutes later ..
And the fact that its happened every couple of days, afraid me that even the dealer will look for the problem for a long time ! :/

Apologies of bumping this thread but I'm also having this issue. It was fairly infrequent, but since changing the battery its happening more frequently. Someone in another thread suggested changing a negative battery terminal cable. I'm wondering if that could be the culprit.
