i have removed the 30mm nut and now can't seem to get the hub deal off
what do I do next? i have access to the CD thru 124performance.com but can't find the PDF file which refers to this
does the hub need to be pulled?
i have access to a press to r&r the bearings but am stuck....

hub assembly needs to be removed from suspension and the bearings have to be pressed out and new ones pressed in. The new bearings will come with new 30mm nuts for the axle shafts.

- Remove wheel
- Remove axle nut
- Remove brake caliper
- Remove rotor
- Remove parking brake and cable
- Unscrew dust shield
- Unhook all of the suspension rods/linkages
- Slide hub assembly off the axle
- Remove old wheel bearing
- Replace bearing and reassemble

I've done this using the official tool. Don't know an easier way. It's still a pain. Look for a tool rental location.

lots of cars
I did it the easy/cheap way and removed the emergency brake cable, unbolted the axles and removed all the control arms on both sides of my car. I took them to a machine shop where they knocked out the axles and pressed new bearings.
I changed both sides at the same time...
to remove the axles you need a 12point 10mm torx socket and that's it...
I think the tools i used where a 19mm socket, 17mm wrench, some allen keys, and the torx socket. It's not that hard if you know what you're doing...

thank you all
i did the same, just took the spindle to a shop, $70 got me out of there (I had the bearing kit)
this definitely is a "take it to a shop" process, just take the spindle off yourself you are better off
this also shows how well these mercedes benz are/were made
