1988 300 E Fuel not reaching spark plug
Im getting good fuel pressure at my fuel distributor and the system is priming.
However, the fuel is not being shot through the injectors for some reason...

Either the distributor, fuel pipes or the injectors themselves may have a blockage.
Just because you are getting good fuel pressure to the fuel distributor, doesn't mean you are getting fuel pressure from the distributor.

Ok im going to unhook some of the injector lines and see if gas comes out after I prime the system...

I jumped the fuel pump relay and no gas came out of the injector line for cylinder number 6.
Is there a way to clean out the line? Could there be a blockage in the fuel distributor or something...

I did not know the key has to actually be turned on for the plunger to work. It will simply not engage.
The plunger is what allows the pressurized fuel and air to shoot it to the injectors...
Im going to properly test it again tomorrow!

Pull the air cleaner off & crack the line from the fuel distributor to the injector. Do it to each one, while cranking & you will see if any of the injectors are getting fuel. If none of them are then its probably your fuel pressure regulator.

Nothing was flowing out!
I just got a fuel pressure regulator from Pick and Pull it was only 6 bucks. They cost 400 brand new.
Its really dirty but the overall condition is way better than the one I have now which is all tarnished completely 100%.
I got it off a 91' 190E 2.3L
Keeping my fingers crossed...
Any way to clean a Fuel Pressure Regulator?

I am sorry bud,but what is a plunger? As far as you wrote you have good presure ,wich you have to measure at fuel distributor intake and return . So mining is your distributor gets fuel in the chamber conected with EHA,but if you dont have any fuel out of cracking open lines, your EHA does not leting it go.Check for the EHA voltage at harness.

I got another fuel distributor as well as EHA valve. The plunger on it is good. I even checked it.
Still will not work!
The plunger is what distributes your gas to your injector lines. The plunger is manipulated by a lever which is connected to the air flow sensor plate.
I think something is messed up with the control-plunger counterforce!

Do not disassemble the Fuel distributor! The only thing you should remove is the plunger! This is the mechanism that moves freely in the middle of the fuel distributor. Check the condition of it.
If the plunger sticks when moved up and down and set properly then it means the fuel distributor is toast!
You have to mark it before you take it out so you know where to screw the seal up to.

it hapend to me this summer. No gas coming out of any pipe.Bought a used EHA,checked pressure at inlet and return of distributor, nothing. Finally I disassemble the distibutor just to find out that all rubber rings(6)on the inner plunger ,have fallen apart ,due to age I would say.Yes I tried to reassemble with some rings you can find in any auto parts store packed in a box full of different sizes. But did not work. This time gas was flying through the spark plug holes every time I would crank the engine. So I ended buying a garantie good used distributor and that solved a problem. If you desire to open yours and find a good rubber rings arround inner "plunger",you are lucky cause the other thing to check are the filters. Each single line (pipe) has its own pressure membrane and filter in small bowl like, ressed in the lower portion of distributor.Just be carefull when assembling and get enough petroleum based grease on eather side. On the rings and surraundings where it is going to sit(lower part in the center hole).Talking grease cause I ripped mine assembling it without and " petroleum based" cause it will disolwe in the gasoline. And one more wery important thing. When I opened mine I did not find any dirt at all. Wich lead me to a foulty EHA.My point is:If everything is OK with distibutor, check your EHA wich are more prone to fail than distributor itself.I would say 1:1000

In fact there is one quick way to check it. Since EHA receives gasoline from bottom portion of distributor every time gas pump is involved, and has two o holes. One hole comming from bottom portion of distributor, another going to upper part.Gasoline comming from bottom pasing through computer regulated EHA toward upper part. So you can remove your EHA (get some clean shop rug under the EHA) be carefull not to loose rubber rings gaskets, and apply pump. IF everything is OK with bottom portion of distributor, you will see gasoline coming out on one of the EHA holes at the side of distibutor. If you have gasoline out then you know 99% that is your EHA problem not havin any gasoline on all pipes. I would check this first before even thinking of opening distributor. Hope this helps. Jack

the plunger on the bottom of the fuel distributer in engaged by the air flow flap inside the body. it is simular to a cam when the flap is drawn down by the air volume the cam or shaft on the plunger presses upward on the plunger. My question is how do ya test the ehu or heu what ever that little black valve is. I ohmed it and it's reading 25 ohms and getting 4 volts on the power plug thast would seam right but i dn't know.

I didn't turn the screw on the side or whatever inside or bottom i removed it and tested it with ohm meter. i have gas pressure on all lines except injector lins so i think the eha is ok or i woud not have gas on the pressre switch coming off the top side of the dstrbutor. i think the rubber inside the dstrbutor has roted due to ethanol posioning. will take it apart this wekend for sure.
