AC Problems
That is why what is happening is happening.
Value 5 is in default mode to tell the evap sensor to shut down the compressor so it does not freeze up. So you have cold a/c air for the first several minutes and then the comp shuts off and then the car sits for a bit and you start the cycle again.
Pick up an evap temp sensor unit under 50 bucks from www.autohausaz.com
http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro.../Heat%20Sensor
Give me a call or look for the diy I did on evap temp sensor.
Don't remove the drivers side under dash panel till you have the part in hand since it will make it easier to tell you what to look and feel for.
Once that is replaced then the codes will clear or you will clear them and the rest of the system can be tested when fully functional.
Nearly impossible to test it with a bad evap sensor.

I ran the a/c diagnostic (107,102,105,107,103,190,10,100) with no errors.
Still no cold air.
new codes are;
1- 31
2- 31
3- 35
4 -36
5 -33
6 -77
7- 07
8 -29
Error codes
Eb1 419 226 228 229 230 232 233 234 416 419 459 422
Any more help will be appreciated.

I noticed that on the Heater/AC control unit that the left Auto button, the - fan button and the one 2 switch from leg to face to window on the right side were not working. I took out the unit and found on the harness one of the pins were burnt...hmmmm. I got a quote from the dealer of $468 for the dash board harness and I said f%#k it. I went to the junk yard and got the harness to the control along with a new astray for $150.
I cannot erase codes due to one of the Auto buttons not working.
So I cut the old plugs out and rewired the new(used) ones.
Now my A/C blows colder than ever.
BuT!!!!!!!!!!! the three buttons still does not work
My conclusion....... WTF???!!??!?

Thanks,
Rock

I want to add Red Angel Stop Leak treatment when it's recharged. It's a 2 oz can that is added with refrigerant.
Here's their website
http://www.gouniversalproducts.com/p...Stop-Leak.html
Anyone heard of this or have xperience with this type of product? Thanks.
I ran the error codes and besides low refrigerant it showed I had bad refrigerant pressure sensor
Fix the leak.
Clear the error after refill
I doubt it will reappear.
My my two AC fans only kicks in when the compreessor kicks in, regardless of the temperature of the water. Also, my two AC fans are NOISY, not a metal noise, but an overworked noise, any clue?

If it works fine at times, skip step 1 this time and just go into the error mode read and record the errors and then hit the 2 auto buttons at the same time to clear the errors. At times stored errors accumulated will cause an overload and intermittent a/c operation. Clear the errors and then see how she operates.
Then when you get that done run the whole test. Just as directed and record values 1-8 and any errors that show back up.
The other symptom which makes me think its not the duovalve is that the sound changes, like as if it goes from recirc to vent, if that makes sense. Its just changing sound like something in the dash is different. I think doors are opening and closing that shouldn't be, or maybe the dash controller is giving false info.
Major symptoms;
-random changes in random vent output temps associated with different sound
-hard to tell, but it seems as though it sometimes changes if you hit a pothole or bump, but it could be coincidence.
How can the two vents on one side be different temps?

To end my a/c issues, the compressor and drier were replaced.
JNS Performance (Spring TX) charged $1,125, which included finding the vacuum line that was unplugged on the firewall causing the vents to blow on default position.

explaining what they mean...
http://www.eclassbenz.com/node/27
today I starting hearing something running constantly when the car idled ... I thought it was the fan kicking on (it's been very hot here)... but when I stepped outside the car to listen more closely - it was not the fan... but it sounded more like a whining noise. When I turned the ignition off ... the sound slowly died down. Is this related to my ac going out ? Any ideas ???
