W211 climate control retrofit

Hello again,
I want to replace my old panel for climate control with dual zone with part number 2118303190. Put new, take out the old, but the air conditioner even in the off position remains activated. Is there anything that should be coded with the diagnostic equipment or retrofit is impossible

The problem is that if your car does not have the bits and pieces for a dual zone to function or was not built as a dual zone, just putting in a dual zone will not give you all the functions------as an example do you have the rear control 211 830 02 85.

to search correctly I would need the VIN,but in any event the new AC control should be variant coded to your car

There is no Mercedes without dual zone climate control. Can be with four-zone or dual. Mine is a dual of 2005. I put the same control but with display. I have diagnostic equipment but where coding? Тried everything, always the compressor is turned on whether the button lights or does not light AC. Vin is WDBUF65J25A681444

Dual zone panel with display came with facelift I think, so that may cause some compatibility problems... could be only need of variant coding like said above

Hello, I read many topics for this retrofit. I have and four-zone control, but it also keeps the air conditioning compressor switched permanently. If anyone knows where this is coded block- which menu please share

Well I don't think that you read the correct material---When I put the VIN in EPC I get very different part numbers and information than you are advising.

To keep this on the same page----you go into EPC with you VIN and look at the AC controller that works with your car---also pay attention to the rear controller which EPC indicates you do not have!!

Friend if you have nothing to say on the topic silent. Writes that make retrofit with part numbers of the parts that shall be trying to install. Is from car with dual zone climate control with display, my original is without display. Nobody talks about four-zone climate control with rear display!

I wonder why not turned off compressor with simple replacement and what to code if this is a problem
