konigstiger, please review this thread (link below). Is there a service bulletin for overheated Anti-Theft Alarm LED that marrs the finish in the dash when the light fails? If it happened to mine, I imagine it has hit others, too. 2016 E-350... Thanks so much...

Not aware of any bulletin request switch block (upper control panel) be replaced under warranty. EPC documents original UPC installed at production is replaced.

2014 E350 Wagon, 2011 Forester XT
LI82.85-P-058928 Apr14 – MY14 212, 218, 207, 117, 156, 166, 172, 176, 204, 231, 246, 463 Sirius application constantly displays “Updating Channels” audio output from most recent satellite station is present but no other stations can be selected. Complaint occurs sporadically after ignition on following ignition cycle issue disappears temporarily. Press COMAND on button for about 10 seconds this will perform soft reset issue may return after next CAN sleep – do not replace any parts matter under investigation.
Does anyone know if there has been an update to this issue yet? Have they found a cause / solution?

My 2011 E550 does this every so often. It only runs for about a minute or two then resumes normal operation. This is maybe just normal updating, but it seems to happen oftener than any normal channel changes.

My 2014 car has over 180k miles, so warranty is long gone, but reading about all those extended warranties on emission parts, anybody has experience how it looks on ULEV cars?
I have to spend $2500 on new DPF for my Bluetec, what comes with over >2 months wait for rebuild to come from Germany.
I have MI showing DPF replaced 60k miles ago , so something is very wrong with this situation and having "the brick" occupying my garage for 2 months is not making me happy. Even I am happy with it when it drives

Cannot find 2014 service warranty with e250BT here is a 2013 copy (e350BT) DEF warranty is 8 years/80,000 miles. To the best of my knowledge no extended warranty.

Thanks. Knowing what to look for, I was able to find one for 2014 as well.
Seems only PZEV vehicles do have 10 years/150,000 miles warranty on emission parts.
Mine is ULEV and looks like 250 Bluetec was never PZEV.
Funny to observe maze of laws. What was in past called "California smog requirements" now is observed in 7 (?) states and the number keeps growing.
Meaning in any calendar year you can have E class build with at least 4 different smog requirements.

Recall 2018100010 OCT18 – 212, 164, 251 replace driver side airbag have dealer check VMI to see if VIN is included. Approximately 18,334 vehicles involved.

Recall Campaign 2018120012 DEC18 – 2010 & 2011 212, 164, 251 Takata front driver side airbag, dealer will replace the front driver-side airbag on the affected vehicles. Approximately 24,602 vehicles affected.

Hi Konigstiger,
I recently bought a 2014 E350 4matic in October and it has a rubbing/grinding noise that comes from the right front end when I back up, I thought it was a clearance issue with the tires but my husband says the tire isn't touching anything when I turn. It has gradually gotten worse over the past 2 months so I'm not sure what it could be from. Do you have any ideas on what it could be from? Also could you please get the data card from my vin: WDDHF8JB7EA981175.

Thank you so much!!! So it doesn't happen when I press on the brakes at all, its only when I turn a certain way and only in reverse. If there was something wrong with the brakes would it make noise when I pressed them? That may of been a stupid question but I'm clueless lol. I appreciate your help & input very much!!
