Coffee icon
Hello again....
I have a "coffee cup icon that stays on in the "Info" area.... I guess it's trying to tell me I need a break.... or a cup of coffee... How is that "reset"?... I've also a Clunky rattle under rear right side. I took it to MD and they stated that I need to replace a leaking rear shock. And of course it's the air shock (Wholesale...$465.and change each. I suppose I'll have to replace both just to be safe....) Oh well... nobody told me it would be a "cheap" car to maintain. But I hope to give it a good try..... I really like th' old Girl....
Thanks
Fred

It’s the attention assist. It will warn you if you start driving like a drunk or someone lacking sleep after some time behind the wheel. You can turn it off.

May be it is the car's way of telling I need to settle with a poodle or Yorkshire and my wife is always right. Sorry Labrador, I cannot have you no matter how cute you are irrespective of your age..!

If you read the description, it takes about 15 minutes or so for it to learn your driving style. When you start to deviate from it, it sends that alert so I guess you probably weren't paying attention to the road and were wandering more than usual. So it wasn't that you were sleepy, just not paying attention to the road.

The coffee cup is always there, but I think it flashes or flashes red when activated. Mine has done it twice and the biggie was the flashing red warning in the instrument cluster that asked if I needed to take a break.

That's exactly what happened to me a few months ago. I made the mistake of pointing that out to her, needless to say, that was one of the dumbest things I've ever done. Now, every beep the car makes is accompanied by a similar but louder one from her

On my 2014 it is always pictured when activated. My 2010 was the same. The warning is a beep and warning language. The cup never changes. Press OK to remove the warning.
