How to remove radiator on W212 2010 E250 CGI?
Hi all,
Car: 2010 W212 E250 CGI.
Problem: Coolant leak from the bottom side of the radiator where the plastic side meets the radiator core. The crimp weakened, I believe. Radiator brand Valeo A2045002803
Does anybody know how to get the radiator out please? I have tried getting to it. I have removed the top plastic covers and the fan assembly. The next step is to get the radiator out.
I am mostly concerned about removing the transmission cooler lines from the radiator. Please have a look at the photo and tell me how to remove/reattach them. The point where the metal line is sitting in that rubber ring is flexible. I'm not sure how to remove it without breaking it.
Thanks!

Loosen the nuts, pull the lines out.

You can either loosen the nuts like Senecat suggested, or pop those black caps off and pull out the small metal retaining clip. Once the clip is out the line will slide out easily. Be warned, when I did this on an '10 GL450 the transmission line going to the transmission cooler in front of the radiator was solid which necessitated removing that first which was a whole thing.
I can post the WIS instructions here if you'd like.

Need to release the wire/circlips either with a pick or speciality tool (similar to fuel-line disconnect).

Let me know if I missed anything or if there's others that would help. Looks like you got lucky and don't have a separate transmission cooler. Makes sense the truck would have it and the W212 wouldn't.
