2019 E350 vs E450
I'm looking to order a 2019. I was never interested in the E300 because of a possible lack of power. I only wanted the E400.
However, the introduction of the E350 may change my thought process. The new E350 engine looks pretty impressive, and now I'm unsure if I really need or want the E450. E350 0-60 is pretty close to the E450, plus the new 4 cyl. engine with EQ boost seems like newer technology. Do I really want the older V-6 engine? EQ boost seems to have some cool features. E350 does have a significantly smaller gas tank, but the gas mileage I'm sure is quite a bit better.
Now if the new I6 engine were available on the E450, then I probably would get that. But it's not and I need a car this fall.
Any thoughts?

I’ll be ordering the 450, which the dealers I have been talking to say is the only option (no 2018).
Slightly more hp and S class steering wheel are the only differences that I have heard about so far.

Any idea when they'll start building it? My dealer isn't sure, but thinks probably June. However, the order guide says that the E450 will be launched only in the fall, while the E350 will be launched in the summer.

I really am in no hurry, which I think is good because of all the changes I expect quite a wait. Can’t even find much info online.

MB sure keeps things under wraps for cars you can order right now.

There is lots of information on EQ Power at Mercedes-Benz.de. With an extension Microsoft Edge will automatically translate German to your chosen language.

The video claims the E450 will still have a V6 Biturbo (with EQ boost added) instead of the new inline-6 biturbo in the CLS... and in the video comments section the person who posted the video claims that's because the CLS has a longer engine bay. Since the inline-6 fits fine in the engine bay of the 2019 E53 AMG Coupe, not sure how much we can take this video at face value.
