Galaxy Note 8 & wireless charging.
I guess people in Germany don't use phablets as my Note 8 charges wirelessly everywhere but in my newly acquired W213.
Not a huge issue as it's an awkward place to keep the phone since Android Auto does not replicate everything on my screen.
May just end up getting this: http://www2.kudausa.com/kuda_mount_a...7-25-822.html#

That's the whole point: they don't want to you use your phone while you are driving. It replaces the necessary driving features (maps, nav, media, and phone) but relies on voice for everything else unless stopped.

I shouldn't be able to use Android Auto wirelessly right or does that work?
Yeah my Note 8 doesn't sit flush, but charges when I take the case off (it appears to charge with the case in, but doesn't) .

Wireless Car Play big drawback is that it puts a big strain on your phone's battery, causing it to drain, much more quickly.
Nevertheless, Mercedes-Benz was supposed to add wireless CarPlay support to its MBUX infotainment system, in the 2019 A-Class models. Do we know this to be true?

Unfortunately, it's a hardware changed that won't be retro fitted for us present MB owners. No big deal. I can live with tethering.
