How to hide the dashcam cable?

I bought a new dash cam and I thinking how I can hide the power cable perfectly and also which part to install the dash cam is perfect for record . I don't want to connect it to the fuse box because I avoid MB will void my warranty to the car . So I decided to connect the power to the usb port. But I.m not sure how to hide the power cable . Can you show me where do you put the cable . If you have a video it will be great , thanks for help

I don't have any photos but I mounted my cam to the left of the rear view mirror then ran the cable in the gap between the roof lining and windscreen. When it reached the door, I stripped the cable insulation and ran it under the door seals from top right down to the footwell. At the footwell, I let the cable run underneath the floor mats across to the "net" pocket thing at which point I connected to the console cigar lighter. I had planned to connect it to the rear seat cigar lighter by doing some basic disassembly and soldering or directly to a USB port but as I found my initial setup really good, I did not bother.

I think I doing the setup same as you. I really hope you can get me some picture when you are free. So I can set it well . I see the other website , someone saying this part ( yellow circle) is not allow to wiring because it might be block the airbag and effect it's function. Is it true?

See the post on hardwiring a radar detector, which should help with your dash-cam wiring. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ich-power.html

Place the dashcam wherever you want on the windshield. Some people do on the left or right side of the rearview mirror. Or for more coverage right under the mirror. Then run the cable up to under the headliner. And remove the side airbag pillar. And plastic trim. And keep running it to where you want your power access point to be.

Any time you're pulling panels near an airbag it is best to have the battery disconnected.
