Marc & Jeff had the best prices. Jeff was a touch cheaper than Marc for my car but BOTH got back to me really fast with limited/no chasing on email only. Looks like you got what you wanted without much hassle so congrats.

Bought my 2016 C300 on Saturday at my stealership on the East Coast and yesterday took care of the 7/75 ELW and 4-year prepaid maintenance with Erin for a savings of 55% over my dealer's pricing. And she immediately replied to my email, on a Sunday! Yay Erin.

Another vote for Jeff Jackson of Tafel MB in KY. Left him a VM message and he called me back within 15 minutes. Whole transaction took 5 minutes...Jeff was a pleasure to deal with on a 7 yr/100k ELW...and he is a new C450 AMG owner as well!

Any comment on the following is greatly appreciated.
I'd like to obtain the ELW & First Class Appearance package (FCA) and called Jeff, Marc, Dan, and Erin. Jeff was quick and offered the lowest pricing on ELW. Dan was almost the same. Marc strung me out for 2 weeks then told me to buy the lowest quote, not from him. Erin doesn't answers email or phone message. Jeff can't sell FCA and my local dealer breaks up the FCA and charges $$$$ for each piece.
Where can I get the FCA for a reasonable price in California?

I bought the ELW and prepaid maintenance without ANY discount when I purchased my new glc300 from MB dealership in Rocklin CA. Is it possible to cancel them and re-purchase from Jeff, Marc, or Erin?? Thanks in advanced.

Refund of unused ELW-What they don't tell you
I just cancelled my 2010 C-Class ELW, with 2 months left on the contract, because I trade-in the C-Class. Never had a warranty claim on the ELW. The dealer that bought the C-Class processed an ELW refund thru MBUSA. It takes 6-8 weeks for MBUSA to issue a refund and they issue it ONLY to the dealer from whom you purchased the ELW. That dealer then has to send you a check. Seems like a crazy system and why take up to 2 months?
A Note about Erin Mahr: I've purchased 3 MBs from Mercedes Benz of Santa Rosa and ELW's on all three. She provided an excellent price for the first ELW in 2004 but would not deal at all on the other two ELW purchases. I suspect but have no proof that to competative pricing on ELW leave so little profit that it's not worth the effort to make the sale. I'm leasing now so don't need an ELW.

Extended warranty for Used Car
I just purchased a GL450 2015 with only 7407 miles from a dealer a week ago. I'm the second owner and their is still
manufacturer’s waranty on the GL450 it expires in 2.5 years. I still have 29 months or 42,593 miles,
I was offered an additional extended warranty from the dealer's through a third party company(Warrantech) for 3yrs @$3900
but I declined and would like to know if I'm eligible form any ELW or any of the MB warranty programs.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Good move not buying a 3rd party warranty. Yes you can buy the MB Extended Limited Warranty, ELW, from any MB dealer as long as your the original warranty is still valid. Some dealers will charge you a penalty, I think it's 15% but maybe higher, for not buying when the car was new. The price for the ELW is negotiable. There are also 3 different options 1,2&3 year extensions and mileage up to 75,000.

I have since found this forum and called several of the dealers that others have used here. One quote for and ELW and maintenance agreement would save us $2500. Another finance manager, mentioned in this forum and in the same area, was very uncomfortable talking to me when I said I had already purchased a warranty but was going to cancel it. She told me I got a good deal and that she wouldn't cancel it if she were me.
So, first I want to hear why Rocklin told me what they did, but then I will cancel it and save a lot of money.

I had lost track of when my CPO 1-year warranty was due to expire, so I wound up being hard against the calendar to get my desired two-year extension. I emailed Jeff plus two other frequently mentioned folks on this forum. Jeff responded three minutes after my initial email to him - no response from the others. No time to comparison shop, but the price was about what I was expecting. The entire transaction was finished within an hour, and 30 minutes of that time was me waiting to see if the other two would respond. Jeff was quick, congenial, and professional.

Pre-paid maintenance - 3 year / 30,000 miles and 2 year/ 20,000 miles
I already have 7500 miles on my car and the second owner. Does this maintenance period (2-year or 3 years) start on my first service date? Or, from the first date I purchased the car? Thanks.

As far as the date, the PPM will expire 3 years from the date of the PPM purchase for a 2 year/2 service plan, or 4 years from the date of the PPM purchase for the 3 year/3 service plan.
For example, I purchased my 3 service PPM in August 2014, the paper work shows it expires on August 2018 (4 years after the PPM purchase date) or after 3 services, whichever occurs first. (Car was Purchased April 2013 for reference).

I didn't want to buy the PPM at the time as it would have possibly been a throw away for the first service. So, I'd like to buy it right AFTER the first free maintenance, and have the next four years done. Is that possible?

If you have 1 free service from your dealer, then you should wait until after you complete that free service, then buy a PPM. The PPM would then cover the next 2, 3, or 4 services depending on which one you purchased.
Note the PPM only covers required items. there are a number of "recommended" items in the service manual that is not covered.

MB warranty post 7 year ELW.
My ELW runs out in Nov and dealer emailed that I can get a one or two year extension through them.
Has anybody done this and what are the prices? My car only has 22,000 miles, but will be 7 years old in Nov.

I purchased one from Romina at WISimonson MB Santa Monica (same dealership as Marc Rose). My car is a '14 CPO E550. It was $2300 to extend it for 2 years, unlimited mileage. Is this a good deal? It felt like a better than the $3k I purchased my 6year/125k on my C250C from Erin in MB Santa Rosa, which seemed to be great at the time. Your thoughts would be very much appreciated as I don't know what to compare to!
