I only talk about Jeff when someone talks about Cassandra!!!! I just want everyone to get the best price and since I did and I made my point I am done posting!!! If someone wants to pay more go for it. And I learned about Jeff here on the forums!!! I have never met him nor do I know him!!! Why would you report me?! You are very new here so you may want to get a little more time under your belt before you start accusing people of who knows what!!!

As there are over 600 posts here is it impolite for me to just ask can I buy a warranty for over 100,000 miles? I ordered a new car but I want to keep my 2015 S550 and my warranty runs out at 100,000 (in 5000 miles). Thanks phil

The quick answer to your question is no, well not at least the specific MB warranty being discussed in this forum. In regards to your 100k mile S550 I personally wouldn’t be bothered with any aftermarket warranty. These W222’s have proven to be fairly reliable mechanically and you’d be better off creating a rainy day fund at your local bank and stuffing $150 bucks away each month for when things like your air suspension needs attention or your turbos eventually need replacement. Otherwise enjoy your car.

Before going with Easy Care, check with the BBB. I did and as a result would not go that route. A ton of complaints, one in particular got me. The complainant had an engine go bad and Easy Care supplied the dealership with a used engine.

2020 E450 Wagon
Hi All,
Question here, I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2020 E450 Wagon. It is new but the vehicle has been driven by the GM's wife since Sep 22nd so that is the in service date. Will I be able to get an MB ELW? The vehicle was registered to the MB dealership. I was able to negotiate a great deal on the car, 11% off of MSRP ($74510). BTW, the car has 978 miles on it and since I've given them a deposit on the vehicle it will no longer be used by anyone. Thanks for the responses.

My understanding is that a new MB is eligible for an extension of the new car warranty as long as the original warranty is still in effect. The in service date should be the date the vehicle is first sold. If this car has never been sold the in service date should be the date you complete the purchase.
After reading your post again, IF the vehicle was registered to the dealer the in service date may be the date the dealer "purchased" it.

Your 2020 E450 definitely qualifies for a ELW. Definitely reach out to Jeff Jackson or any of the other discounted recommendations for ELW’s.

Another satisfied customer of Cassandra. Saved ~$75 over Jeff’s quote on the 7/75k ELW and picked up 2 pack PPM package as I’m coming up on the 50/60k service intervals. This will see me through period of ownership on the S class.

Yes, a big difference! If you buy it in the 30 days after buying it new you get the best price and then it starts going up. The more miles you have on it the more you pay, and the older it gets the more you pay as well.

I think there is a surcharge, however some of the dealers that sell them in the extended warranty tread don't charge the fee so that's why sometimes you see it mentioned and sometimes you don't.

I just purchased a 7 Yr/ 75K ELW from Cassandra. Very happy with the price and the peace of mind of the extended warranty. Thanks for posting the contact info of the various MB Finance folks and helping us to save some cash.

To my understanding most states have to charge it (legal jargon) and there’s a handful of states that do not have to charge it.

Agreed. Cassandra is in WI and she told me there is no sales tax or surcharge in the state so it was just the straight price for the extended warranty. I was told by another finance person that the surcharge applies six months after the purchase of the vehicle or later.

I just bought a 7/100 warranty from Cassandra. Jeff was a fair amount more expensive. Cassandra wasn't the easiest to get ahold of. I'm assuming she was quite busy. But once she got in touch with me the deal went well. Jeff was very responsive though and I'd have no problem buying from him in the future.

I am looking at an out-of-warranty private party sale on a W204 C63 AMG and have run into a dead end for extended warranty coverage. Does anyone know of any possible coverage options? Jeff was super helpful but won't write a contract on a vehicle out of warranty, as stated previously in this thread.
