Im curious too, rather than buying accessories at ridiculous prices from the MB dealer, anyone know a website that sells MB accessories at a better price?

Check out dealerfit.com. I have no direct experience with them yet, but probably I will order a set of cross bars for the GLK roof rails. It appears to me that they are selling genuine M-B accessories at pretty good prices.

Second, does anyone know if there is a company that makes aluminum covers that go over roof rails?

Tugzy - Both of your items are available from dealerfit.com:

I don't know anything about their reliability or customer service, but they're worth a look, I think.

I have done business with DEALERFIT. They have excellent prices, ship promptly and have excellent customer service. I bought my mudflaps and cargo net from them.... Frank

I have purchased from dealer fit, they actually shipped me the wrong product but when I contacted them they were very agreeable and corrected the situation quickly. Would order from them again

I ordered several genuine MB accessories (Chrome door handle inserts, mud flaps, floor liners, etc.) for my GLK-350 from Mercedes-Benz of
Cincinatti 513-984-9080 at wholesale prices (about a 20% discount off retail plus shipping). I saw their ad in "The Star" MB magazine for SEP_OCT edition. Also I purchased from Performanceproducts.com some chrome tail light and headlight trim that looks very nice installed. Weathertech.com has side window deflectors, floor mats, cargo mats. And finally, today I ordered a set of custom made black velour seat covers and dash cover from Coverking.com. I hope this helps someone who wants to add some accessories to their new GLK. Thanks.

Sorry, I haven't taken any pictures of the chrome headlight or taillight trims, but you can go to performanceproducts.com and enter 99-625 and 99-622 in the search box and you can see pictures of them. They have added a touch of class to the appearance and are a good match with the factory chrome. There are also some pictures of them on page 14 of the sep-oct issue of The Star MB magazine.

What color is your GLK?

chrome roof rails are difficult. Mainly because they would have to take off the existing ones. Do a search. I think someone asked this before. It can be done, but would be fairly difficult and expensive if I remember right.
