No, the SLR beat the Z, but who would have expected any different? The Z is impressive for hanging that close.

The SUV is a Nissan Patrol, which we don't get in North America.

800HP Nissan ok good killed but if they modified the Z06 its a whole different story. funny how that SUV pulled ahead

Get sum spetacles Newt the Z06 beat the SLR in both races... I deff can see and know what my C6 looks like especially tailights as they pass, not to mention unmistakable exhaust sound of Z06

1st run was from a dig, the C6 Z06 edged the SLR, 2nd was from a roll obvious Z06 win by multi lengths that time (note Z06 is black, the SLR is silver) slow motion pause frame you will see it clearly

Edit: the reason I know race paramiters is it was posted along w/links I found, by the guys in Dubai.

I pulled a modded (ECU chip, exhaust-was the loudest phawking exhaust I've ever heard! it literally hurt your ears!!) F360 in my C6 last week from a 45mph roll dead even till 75mph then easily walked him 2 1/2- 3 lengths till shutdown we did this 4 times guy was freaking out asking me what mods I had?? saying "Are you sure you don't have a Cam, Heads, headers?" NOPE!

Probably VERY close together, F599 weighs 3600lbs w/620bhp and only 448brake torque SLR 3800+lbs 620hp heavily modded E55k can beat the SLR straight line.

Bro are you kidding? there are countless mags that have the C6 Z06 way lower than those ****y times on dragtimes.BS also how bout Rangers Bone Sock C6 Z06 running 10.85 @ 130 something? didn't want to beat that dead horse again but if your going to throw up those Cherry picked SLR times, compared to near 12.00 runs from C6 Z06's? Touche'

There are a handfull of guys on the Vette forums running their C6 Z06's in the 1/4 -- 11.10-11.60 @ 126-129

And I guess that video above is totally staged

It's fun you'll love the change over driving a heavy benz, as I did, also the new C6 is coming w/fully re-done leather wrapped interior verrry nice, still way under what Mercedes can do but finally a step in the right direction.

It's rumored to be 430-450 bhp
