So, got the warped rotors swapped out and new pads and rotors in as well new Michelin's Pilot Super Sports tires/new rims installed. Now for window tint. Thinking about doing a slight mod on exhaust.

What is your opinions about the above title thread ECU/TCU tuners? Seems Renntech has highest outputs at highest price. Does one really notice a TCU mod? Your inputs would be appreciated.

Make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Meaning some tuners list whp and some crank. (renntech is crank)

Sending you a pm

Most people in this forum have gone eurocharged or speedriven, mainly because they are cheaper than renntech or kleemann

oe tuning and logic lab are virtually unknown as the only people who have posted about them are company shills and a few new members with little contribution to this forum . Any kind of low post member suggesting a little known Tuner is suspect

THAT IS a smoking deal. A Kleemann guy called as well and he claimed they had $1200 ecu upgrade that also included exhaust mod. As well claimed 680hp and 800 or so torque. Thought that just sounded to good to be true. So went with EC.

Nick, I sent a DM to sales@eurocharged.com and went from there.
How do you remove the TCU? Is it just slides up or the whole fuses panel needs to be removed first?

I got the TCU out by removing the fuses panel. I don't remember disconnecting this 2 wires plug: turquoise/white and turquoise/black but it's disconnected ECU/TCU Renntech/Kleemann/Eurocharged/OETuning-photo747.jpg
Where would it goes?

More pics of dis-connected plug. Please keep eyes on it when doing your TCU.

I got the ECU done during the black friday sale from Eurocharged. NO downtime (except during flash 10mins or so). You download your file, send it, they send it back asap and you upload their tune onto your car.

Easiest thing to do to your car, however, I should note I personally felt no benefit from the tune. Maybe I felt more of a instant power from the bigger 180mm crank pulley but their list of features are amazing to pass up on if you get a deal. I haven't dyno nor do I question it to death, I just tell people its tuned

I got the Eurocharged ECU and TCU and I'm happy with it but it's nowhere near the performance of the Renntech tune.
I test drive a 03 S600 with Renntech before purchasing my 05 S600. When hitting the gas, that 03 S600 Renntech moves while leaving your whole body behind.
This morning, a 911 and my S600 were doing 70mph, I got my RPM to 5k and the car seems to be standing still while the 911 pull in front of me by one whole car length.

Kleemann ran me $1500 for the ECU and TCU, it definitely works great. Lots of power when you want, smooth as silk the rest of the time. Good fuel economy, too, maybe slightly better than before. The guys at Kleemann said there was a torque limit on the transmission that needed to be removed to be certain that your transmission wouldn't go into limp mode during a hard pull. I didn't notice much of a difference otherwise.

The TCU/ECU Eurocharged tune turned out to be ok after all. Contacted Eurocharged and Jerry asked for fault codes and datalog. Hooked up a code reader and there were couple communication error codes on the transmission. Erased the fault codes and the car's no longer stalled with RPM at 5k.
It's a completely different car. Now it has new smell of rubber burning. I need to look for that 911 again.

Eurocharged is the only one that wants to go for a custome E85 only tune on my 600. The others said no.

So eurocharged is the one i go for ;-)
