KLEEMANN Bi-Turbo ECU SPECIAL!
I am pleased to announce that starting now until December 31st 2008, KLEEMANN is offering special pricing to forum members for our 600 and 65 bi-turbo ECU programming! Our normal price for Bi-Turbo tuning is $4500.00, and we've decided to slash that price to $2500.00! This sale includes ECU programming only. We can provide TCU files for an additional $500.00. We do ask you provide your MBWorld screen name when ordering, as this special applies only to registered MBWorld members. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me an email: cory@kleemannusa.com, or call 719.473.6441 Ask for either Cory, or if I'm not available, Brandon can assist as well.

Hi Marcus-
No, not particularly. I've never experienced any significant difference. We can remove load limitations, and get the car to hold a gear longer at neutral throttle inputs which is handy for road-course driving, but there's really no benefit on the 65 in terms of 1/4 times, or HP/TQ output. The AMG Speeshift program is quite nice, and there's not too much room for improvement there. It will benefit the 600 cars much more than the 65 AMG's.

There is no mention of SL55 only, so I assume the SL65 applies as well.
I attached the page for the R230 for your viewing pleasure (click to enlarge).

I've seen lot of Charts on both Kleemann vs RENNtech on SL600 there nearly identical, excellent products...
1 member here w/SL600 recently got the Kleemann ECU/TCU put down 500+ rwhp 680+ rwto I believe it was on a Dynodynamics which usually read lower than the most widely used Dynojet you'd easily see 520+ rwhp 700+rwto on Dynojet
These #'s equate to 634 Crank HP & 853 Crank Torque using 18% driveline loss![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
It will be FASTER than a STOCK SL65 AMG easily..

What can I see over stock on my SL65? I'm hearing that Renntech does approx 740HP with their 100 octane tune and 680HP with their 91 octane tune. A shop that does Renntech only told me that Kleenman cars show up at his shop all the time with engine codes, not sure if that's true or not

If that's true, it's pretty impressive.
In my experience, 91 octane maps net real-world gains of 40-50 peak HP, but closer to a 100 HP gain in the low and mid RPM range. MB limits the amount of boost pressure in the low and mid RPM range, and our programmers are simply making more boost available earlier in the RPM range. Peak torque is limited to around 830 lb/ft., which is just under what that transmission is load rated for from MB. 100 octane maps will provide gains of 100 HP- right around 700. Peak torque remains limited to 830 lb/ft. We also do the usual things like remove the speed limiter, program for better throttle response, etc.
a friend of mine who owns a BMW dealer says he sees MB's come in with check engine lights all the time. He always tries to sell them BMW's....![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

We've had such a good "response" about the sale, we've decided to extend this bi-turbo offer until Feb. 1st. $2500.00 for ECU, $500 for TCU.

How does this work with you in another State if I want to have you do the program on my car?
Also do you have some sort of a senior discount for me having to put up with them on the roads all day? LOL! J/K

unfortunately not. You can always buy a new ECU from your dealer, have it coded to the car, and have one mapped for 91 and the other for 101, but that's about the only way to do it. The EPROM chip isn't large enough to store information for two separate maps. There are actually TWO EPROM's on the bi-turbo cars- one for each bank of cylinders (they're only 400K chips). Audi's and VW's which CAN hold two separate maps use 800K chips.

Cory, is this program for the computer only? I understand the Renntech has a computer program as well as one for the transmission.

If you would like Kleemann tuning, you would need to remove and ship your ECU to Kleemann. They will flash it and send it back to you.
We are Kleemann dealer located in Charlotte, NC if anyone in the area is interested in this flash. I can also take orders from those who are not local to us if you like. Just pm, email or call
