Help with SLR Noise

Maybe someone on here can help me out with this.
I have 2006 SLR that make a noise when I have the ESP off and pull a hole shot. There is no noise other then the tires spinning when step on it. But as soon as you step out of it. It sound like a belt slipping.
MB is telling me that this is normal.

Thanks for any Info

There are very few actual SLR and 722 owners on this board, unfortunately.

That said, lambopower.com has a section called SLR-Power. There is an active forum there with several SLR owners, myself included.

Try posting there for some info. Good luck.

With a car like this...

and a location like LI, why not take it to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty? Ask for nothing less than an SL or CL as a free loaner!

i dont know what is causing the noise but i did have the same noise on my slr and also on my 722.

it only happen with the traction control off and when u do a serious burnout. its like a high pitched squeal correct?

porter dont u get that on urs?

I think it time to trade it in for a FERRARI !!! The only noise you will hear, is from the exhaust system.

Enterprise rent-a-car!!!
Where does the noise sound like it is coming from ??
front, back, inside, etc etc.
I know tis sounds odd but a lot of the squealing noises on SLR's comes from the ESP/SBC pump and lines, Usually performing the "air release" procedure in SBC will eliminate a lot of weird noises.
If you where a little closer, I would do it for you!!
