Ben

Are you still looking to get this done one Your Viano ??

U will need E55 AMG 360x36mm discs and custom adapters to be made to fit Vito/viano knuckle. Not sure if C63 are using same discs i know size is same but offset may be different. I did try E55 AMG 8pot calipers with 360x36mm on my vito but decide to sell them. Rear setup my required custom 2pcs discs to work with oem hand brake. Unless u use SL600 or S600 rear discs then u will have to get custom adapters to be made to fit C63 calipers

Im going for 360x36mm discs with Genuine Mercedes 4pot calipers.
U can get discs for 100quid, pads will be 50-60quid and calipers will have to be modified to fit vito/viano knuckle but once they are modified u dont need any adapters.

Hi, Did you need calliper brackets or did they bolt to the vito hub?

No adapters needed 😃😃 calipers mounting lugs need to be machined to work with 360x36mm discs. Standard Vito brake lines are straight fit. And brake pads are slightly wider then oem one so have more braking force.
Depends on wheels spacers may be need as mine are et59 and there is only 4mm clearance between caliper and wheel.

Sorry for late response pal. Sold my Van sometime ago and totally forgot about this forum. But looking to get another one and will be getting bigger brakes fitted on it only this time front and rear.

These calipers are from Mercedes R321 SL450 AMG and will need to be modified before can be fitted. You will also need Mercedes W211 E55 AMG 360x36mm discs.
You can reuse your existing brake lines as they are straight fit.
There is another option that could be used on Vito/Viano. You will need set of calipers from Mercedes C63 front & rear ones. Discs will be 375x36 on front & 365x26mm on the rear.

Hi, i am doing right now brake conversion in my V-klasse what did you mean by modifying the calipers ? I saw the total thickness difference of the vito rotor compared to e55 rotors is about 6,2mm. So do i need to machined caliper lugs to make it thinner about 6,2mm ?
Thanks for replay

Long time since I been here
I did use e55 discs which are taller than a standard vito one and that's why calipers had to be modified. If I member right calipers been modified buy milling 4mm of the lugs. If you are going to use discs from CLS then calipers won't need modifying but will need correct spacers/shims between calipers and knuckle so the discs are perfectly in the centre.
Im going to use ML63 5pot calipers with 390mm discs but u can use same calipers only with 360mm discs in both cases calipers will need spacers between lugs and knuckle.
