Pressure on 19 tires

I am curious what pressure is everyone running with the size 19 tires ? I am running 40 all around .

Being very familiar with optimum tire performance, my gut feeling tells me 34psi Front; 36psi Rear. I understand pot hole preventative applications. But, thread wear applications takes precedence. Pot hole applications aside, 40psi will produce premature uneven (center tire section) thread wear, hydroplane issues, inferior cornering grip, and a fairly shaky ride. Just my 2 cents.

I used to have my pressure set higher closer to the 40s range. I figured if I pumped it higher, the energy from hitting potholes would transfer to my rim and my suspension even more than if I had it a bit softer to absorb the impact. That's how I see it, oh and I know the rears already tend to wear in the center.

I am no expert but I can see how a lower pressure can be easier on the suspension components , but not the the rim ( thats just me ) , running 40 all around for quite sometime my tires wear is more on the edges and sides not the center ..but then again I changes so many wheels / offsets etc. that it is hardly considered consistent .
