Anyone interested in Euro AMG springs?
If anyone's interested, let me know!
If you're going to go through the trouble of swapping springs to drop the car, it's better to go with some H&Rs IMO. I ended up taking 3/4 of a coil off the front springs of my H&R's (which are going back on after November, don't ask) to get the car sitting low enough in the front.

PS. With Eibach, H&R springs or other aftermarket springs... you would need a camber kit if you don't want to wear out tires every 10k miles.

My fronts were a different story though. I was running cut springs on the front (not even a one finger gap) and they were done after 10k miles.
You can see the tread on the rears in this pic. They obviously don't have that much extra wear from the car being on the H&Rs. This pic was taken when I was trying to sell those wheels.

Bilstein Sports - For lowering springs, same firmness as Bilstein HD. Shorter shock to accomodate lowering springs.
They are just springs and pads from another E class or E Wagon with different options Jeez! This has been gone over several times.Just get Votgland springs or eibachs and be done with it.
I'm actually looking into going with Eibachs but they're saying they don't make any application for the W210 E55s,the closest they make would be the E430. Does anyone know if they would work on the E55,since I believe the curb weight on the E430 is different than the one on the E55?

That is the exact part number I got thru email from one of the Eibach's reps after speaking with him. But he's insisting they haven't been tested for the E55s so he doesn't know what the outcome would be in terms of height and handling. From reading countless threads about suspension options I'm set to go for the Eibach-Bilsteins Sport application, but still can't figure out if the Eibachs will actually work on my car. Has anyone used this set up?
