Thanks for the support guys! I truly appreciate it.

I am still trying to get a hook up for a stock E55 to do the fitment testing on it so we can install this thing on my car and move forward.. Hopefully this will be done real soon. I'll post some more info once I've got something to report.

The I.P. isn't for sale; just the airboxes are..

Wait till you see some of the other stuff that is coming..

Guys... I need your help!!!

I am still trying to track down a 55K car with a stock TB on it so we can do the fitment testing of the airbox. At this point we are being held up by this..

Is there anyone in the Toronto and surrounding areas that has a SL55/CLS55/E55/S55 that is willing to lend their car for a couple of hours?

Do any of you have friends/relatives in this area?

If you can help please let me know so we can get this project completed.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Vrus any word on possible airbox for us non Kompressor 55 guys with the old M113? Our airboxes are extremely restrictive so it would be nice to have something that works on all non Komp engines (C43, CLK55, E55 and most other non AMG V8s, etc). Seems like that would be a good target market, just a suggestion. thx

Believe it or not we are still trying to get fitment confirmed on a stock car.. I just cant give the go-ahead to run 32 of these things without fitting it to a stock vehicle first... I had a 2 guys lined up but everthing fell through.. I'm exhausting all the contacts I have to try and get a car to fit it on.

I'll report back in another couple of days and let you all know where we stand...

-----------------------

I started looking at this 3 weeks ago... I dont have anything to say about it yet because its all preliminary.. The SLK55 & C55 are the cars I was looking at. if I get some good feedback, I'll post up some info. Something MAY come of it.

How about sending it to someone to verify the fitment?? Someone surely can put it on and take some pics to make sure it fits. Then you can get it back modify it and whatever else.. Just an idea if nothing else is happening..

I need the car in my hands so I can physically look at it and the engineer that worked with me on the project can inspect also.

I found a place that has an E55.. I am going to rent it for a couple of days and use it for fitment testing. Hopefully that will run perfectly smooth and we can move on here..

Thanks for your patience everyone.

We ended up renting an SL55 today instead because we couldnt get the E55 for the time that we needed it.

My engineer just called me and said fitment on a stock TB is PERFECT!!! He gets to keep the car for the rest of the day and enjoy it until it has to go back, so we only had to rent it for 1 day..

My car is now going to be heading down to them so they can make the ring and fit it on my car (Gen I 80mm TB).

Pictures of the fitment on the SL55 will be heading my way later tonight via email and I'll post them for you guys to see..

We gave the ok to start the production run.
