WOW, I've spent about 7 hours of my day reading this thread start to finish and I still don't get to see performance gains yet! Talk about a let-down! Oh well, I'm waiting with baited breath for the final results!

Victor is currently vacationing in Bermuda due to recent increase in cash-flow and cannot be reached for comment.

I've always been a Cayman Islands kind of guy myself..

All of the airboxes after the first 10 (for the stock TB dudes) will arrive together.. They didnt give me a firm date.. only that they will arrive "shortly after".

Spot Available on Waiting List

O.K. guys, I jumped on the list for one of these air boxes several months ago, and now that they are finally available, my fortunes have shifted. I am in a short-term cash-flow bind and under the hood is the LAST place I need to put my funds at the present time. In a nutshell, I was required to move my office somewhat unexpectedly earlier this year. I am actually glad for the situation, because I had wanted my own place for quite a while. Anyway, the move requires stuff like: phone system, fax machine, copier, furniture, etc., that I had free use of in my last office sharing set-up. I truly believe that the move will put me in a MUCH better place professionally and financially, but it is a real bind this month. Point being I cannot imagine "welching" on Victor, based on the extent of his own investment of time, money and effort in projects which we all get to benefit from. I want to make sure that someone can take my place in the list and zip him the funds for one of these great peices. Vic, I will pay IN ADVANCE for one during the next round. If nobody wants my place, I will find a way to make things work. I wont leave ya' hangin' Victor!!! Any takers, please reply on this thread or contact me or Victor.

Dont worry about it.. I'll put it aside and see if there is anyone interested in it, otherwise we'll just put it up for sale afterwards.. Concentrate on getting your business affairs where you need them.. The mods will be here waiting for you when you need them.

$1600 for the R&D group including custom foam filters I had made for them.. Retail price will be $2300 after that.

Jamusa, as stated in this thread, no one has this unit yet. The people that invested in this project did so based on Victor's previous successes, like the TB................ that modification proved to improve performance significantly. Do a search for that thread.

Regarding Victor's latest project he did state that: "if this new air-box does not increase HP by 20%, I'll double your money back".

Be patient, as soon as these boxes are installed you will see
dyno and track data.

I can do a study. We need to design it right, to compensate for the car not moving. The airbox is all about flow AND heat, so a stagnant dyno run may or may not represent a true run?

Agreed. I think track data and butt dynos will be the most telling. I got mine. You don't have yours, yet?

That's because Victor decided to distribute the first batch of air-boxes to all the underpowered E55's.

I think its going to be hard to test this on the dyno to get a good representation of its potential.. The best test will be running it down the 1/4mile or on the highway.. Boxes should arrive any day now...
