63 AMG Engine Dynos
I just wanted to compile a list of dynos of the different variants of the 63 engine into one thread so it'd be easier to find through the search engine. If I've missed some, please feel free to add to the list.
1) getbitten's E63 - Stock Dyno - 4th gear
2) getbitten's E63 - Stock Dyno - 5th gear
3) AMGreatful's E63 - Stock Dyno - Dyno Dynamics
4) Here's Juicee's infamous CLS63 on the dyno.... (All 3 Runs Are Stock)
5) Trez's CLS63 - One run with charcoal filters and the other without the filters (this is probably the HIGHEST stock dyno for any 63)
6) VRP's Test CLS63 Stock Dyno
7) The same CLS63 after the VR530 package
8) Here's Jcart's legendary CLK63 Black Series - Stock and after Evosport's Mods and Dymag Wheels.....
9) Ed's ML63 Before And After Powerchip's ECU Tune
10) This is zteb's S63 Stock Dyno..... the numbers are way too low, and we never got an update on what was wrong with the car
11) This C63 Stock Dyno Belongs to E63PWR
12) E63PWR's C63 After a Kleemann ECU Tune
13) Here is another C63 Stock Dyno Belonging to TuneTime:
14) And of course RennTech's C63 showing a Stock Dyno and then a Dyno after ECU V1 Tuning
15) Finally, here is one more Stock C63 Dyno showing results before and after Kleemann ECU Upgrade.....
1) getbitten's E63 - Stock Dyno - 4th gear

Well I thought I would go ahead and post my Dyno sheet from yesterday.
This is on an 2007 E63 with Renntech V1 ECU, VRP CF Airbox and no secondary Cats.

Heres another. I dont have my stock Dyno, but this close. The low number is my car stock with JUST the Renntech ECU tune and no charcoal filters vs. higher number is Renntech ECU tune and VRP CF boxes with highflow filters, and no secondary cats.
One thing to note the low number was done June 7th 2008 and the second number was done August 19th 2008
Same humidity about , but temperature was 18 F cooler then first day

404-408/359-375 stock
420-448/389-401 modded
Looks good.
Try 100 octane next time, :-)

Just got back from the dyno. The runs posted below are 5th gear (1:1) SAE corrected, hood down, using the same dynojet I always use. I made one pull in 4th gear after and made 433rwhp/383rwtq (+6rwhp and -10rwtq over 5th gear).
427rwhp/394rwtq SAE (Using 17.5% DT loss that's 518hp/478tq @ the flywheel, using 20% DT loss 534hp/493tq):
Compared to stock (sorry no TQ #s for stock since we had to splice into the coil pack wiring today to get the wire isolated, there will be TQ #s from here on out):
As far as I know our V1 tuning just beat every other C63 ECU reflash on the market, and the best part is A/F actually dipped into the 11s at 5800rpm meaning there's an easy 15-18rwhp (a tad more timing in v2 as well) left in the car in a SAFE revision.
For frame of reference look at Rentech's results in 4th gear (producing higher #s than 5th):
Using my 5th gear numbers we're making 33rwtq SAE (counting the 10rwtq I lost going from 4th v 5th gear dynos that's 23rwtq SAE actual) and 15rwhp SAE (counting the +6rwhp loss I saw going from 4th to 5th that's 21rwhp SAE actual), and again we have another 15-18rw coming in v2.
Using my 4th gear numbers (direct comparison) we're up 20rwhp/23rwtq SAE on them--this is with no other mods (aside from tuning) besides filters. The gains will get better as more mods (exhaust, CAIs, etc.) are used.
Finally, me running a 2700lb cam'd LS1/RX7 on the way home, the owner who lives less than a mile from me says it traps 115-116 N/A (how we ran today). He jumped out 1 car from a 20 roll before I hit it.:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilxsELYazbw
So again, I'm calling it right now. We'll be at ~440rw SAE in 5th gear on a DJ with v2, and we should also breach 400rwtq SAE as well with just filters/tuning on a 2400 mile C63.
Thanks
Andy

CLK 63
Here is my 07 CLK63 bone stock 4th gear pull, 91 oct Valero pump gas
Later (as soon as I locate the damn file) I will post a dyno pull with 1/2 a tank of 100 oct blended

Here is the thread this is from: evosport and Powerchip Stage 1 C63 ECU Tune and Development
STOCK BASELINE C63 DYNO
HP: 452.67 (371.19 RWHP)
Torque: 445.18 (365.05 RWTQ)
*MBZ claims 450 HP & 443 TQ for a stock car so above numbers are in-line with that claim
TUNED C63 DYNO (ONLY SOFTWARE ON CA 91 PUMP GAS)
HP: 531.45 (435.79 RWHP)
Torque: 483.74 (396.67 RWTQ)
+79 HP & 38 FT-LBS GAIN!
The above run is with Smoothing set to ZERO. We never hide behind high smoothing numbers that do not tell the entire story. You will note that in 5th gear (1:1) there is some "knock" activity. That is due to the poor CA fuel and the lack of sufficient airflow to sustain the heat load.
The above is the same set of runs with smoothing set to 5 to smooth out the lines (although you will note without any smoothing the Powerchip tune is very smooth in 4th gear).
With 93 or 100 non-California octane fuel, you can expect even better numbers.
Please feel free to ping us with any questions or comments!
thanks
Simon

That is, if your "Calling it" numbers make 440/400, as Simon already made 436/397 on 91 octane.
See yeah

Wow.
not too shabby at all
California gasoline is terrible , I would love to see it tuned for 100. :-)
