Ok, spoke with Todd again.
He stated that they pay with a corporate credit card, which should put the dealer at ease.
I have no problems with loaner cars or anything else. I have another car that I plan to use.
If it takes them 8 biz days to pay, then so be it (although that is very long).
Todd stated that this was the first time he's heard of a dealer who won't accept the policy and was as perplexed as I was.
I wonder if the dealer couldn't do this:
finish the work, put the whole amount on my credit card, wait for payment from CSC, and then cancel the charges on my card.
Again, I don't mind fronting the money, but I'm really surprised that Benzel Busch wouldn't accept this. I could always try another dealer, but i've had very good luck with Frank Scott (the service advisor) and the techs there.
sucks.

Missing work to drop a car off on the other hand would be a pain.
Furthermore, my current dealer is about 15min away, so that would be a whopping hour and fifteen minutes longer each way.

jeez, was your car a bit ragged out or something? From just your posts in this thread, you've had over 12k worth of stuff repaired in like 3 months.

actually the car is in very good condition, SC clutch is a common issue on the 5.5 AMG cars they all need it replaced. i am very **** ......that being said the trans started behaving weird, never slipped or anything just jerky occasionally.
now the thing drives like new, love it.

How much was that? And did you have the factory warrenty when you got it? I'm inquiring about a 05 E55 with 53k on it...is it too late for a warrenty?
Also, does anyone know if this warranty if dependable since Chrysler is bankruput?

There's a Michael Chase I believe. His price is about $200 cheaper for the same plan. However, you have to bring it into a dealership for a 25 point inspection and you have to bare the cost.
I went directly to Chrysler since they can start the coverage right over the phone without any inspection and hassle. You pay $200 more but save on the time and money (and risk) for not having to go to the dealership for an inspection.

I was really big about going with chrysler (read all my posts in this thread) but some other things i heard about local dealers who were having a couple issues with chrysler and everyone i called said fidelity is the safer bet. In fact bc my 03 SL55 has 29k miles.. fidelity warranty was cheaper! I got a 4yr 48k mile with $100 deduct for $2100.

hey guys question for you.
I had some a/c compressor noise, and the dealer wants to replace the a/c compressor, but since the noise is intermittent, they don't want to ask chrysler for approval, and then not have the thing make noise when the adjuster comes to check it out.
Have you guys had an adjuster come out for a repair?

to be frank, while I enjoy this aspect, chrysler has got to be one of the worst insurance companies out there then. If they will blindly take the dealer's word on any number of $x,xxx repairs, then they aren't going to make a lot of money.

hey all, i just got on the boards yesterday starting to seriously look at 2004 e55 with less than 60k miles. is there any final price on these warranties, did someone find the most reliable sourse to purchase it from along with cheapest. i ask because i had an 03 g35 coupe and my dealer near me in Long Island, NY wanted $2500 while i called an infiniti dealer in Georgia who was only asking $900, and the prices were diff all over the country $900 was the cheapest i found but i wonder if its the same deal with this warranty. and this was a warranty directly through infiniti. thanks for any help.

ok, Chrysler approved all repairs, and they are going to do payment the following way.
I put the full repair on my CC, chrysler takes its standard 5-7 days to pay with their credit card, and then the dealer cancels the charge (minus my deductible) on my card.
so far, its been an administrative struggle with CSC, but in terms of coverage, and ease of approval, they are fantastic.

Not yet on the paper work, however I did just receive the first bill - coverage went into effect May 24th. When I spoke with Todd, he told me that it has been taking longer than normal to get the paper work out and to call in about 6 weeks if I still haven't received it.

I was not able to find the online version.
And nope, still have not gotten the paperwork.
I'm of the impression that they can't possibly be selling that many contracts that they can't get paperwork out in a 2 month timeframe.

I am still waiting on my paperwork as well. Paying my second bill this month though. Coverage started April 10th! Todd says I'm covered and the paperwork should be here soon...
fingers crossed, this is taking forever

When I got my MB Extended, I left with paperwork, brochure, and
receipt in hand.
