which headers to get ?
which one do u recommend for
i found VRP short tubes for $1499
Kleemann for $1495
notice that i already removed my catalyst.
thanks guys.
but kleemann only does long tubes ? am i right ?
so for this range of price, VRP Shorts will be beter ? or Kleemann long tubes are ?
and will kleemann headers bolt join ? or since i removed my primeries it wont be a bolt on set. ?
thanks for your input.
in US i found the kleemann Headers for $1495 but here in Dubai they want to charge me 18,000 AED which = $4900 without installation and about $540 for the installation @@
it is really costy here for a reason i don't know why !!!!

. Trust me I know what it cost to do a production run on headers.
i was hust wondering which one is better, i am sure going for a SS long tube ceramic coated if i can get one
U bend prices:
Mild steel 3 inch radius = $7.99
304 SS 3 inch radius =49.99
I think its safe to say mild steel headers available for the AMG have less then $50 of material in them.

Do any aftermarket shops make headers made of high quality stainless steel? I'm thinking about buying some headers, but don't wanna buy some cheap headers only to have to replace them in a few years, I want them to LAST.
Our C55 SS headers finish up tomorrow then its on to the next car. If anyone in the AZ area wants headers for the E55 made and dyno tested I will give you a smoking deal PM or PM my alter ego sponsor name MBH Motorsports. We are lucky enough to have one of the best header fabricators in the game. Again PM me I can send you pictures of some custom work.
Really though I had to become a sponsor of MBworld to talk about bringing cool projects, idea's and products to my friends here at MBW. So if you ever see a post by MBH Motorsports, Its my alter ego.

Absolutely, i remember you. I also know of dyno comp. I was just curious if you are under RennTech's tentacles or not. If not, then you may be my new tuner
. I don't mind some affiliation with RennTech, I just don't want to buy their parts or tunes so as long as you have a variety I am good. Key for me is tuning since I wanna go a little nuts....
T304 cracks after several hundred heat cycles. Just had a set of 997TT T304 stainless changed out that were a year old.
If you want them to last forever use 321. But then no one will pay $12,000 for an exhaust.
