Lowering and wheel alignment

I did Star lowering a very small amount. I took it back to the shop to have it aligned, but after two days of trying they can't get it done correctly. They have suggested that it isn't possible with the car lowered any amount. Is wheel alignment impossible or do I need to find a new shop?

Thanks.

I received the same feedback. Could address using bolts etc then life got busy forgot about and keep drifting right. Will try and get the details.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Camber eccentrics

camber rear links from speedybenz or lensolo.
Or camber bushing from K-mac all around.
How much did you lower it?
How negative is the camber?

Find a better shop.
One with the new hunter machine that also knows how to properly align a Mercedes.

Yes, the crash bolts will help. The right pull....

is not so easy. Some cars seem to have it worse than others, and some tire brands are certainly worse than others. The lower you go, the more likely she goes that way.

Mine pulls slightly to the right as well. Had it aligned and still the same.

I had my car lowered using the SDS, secret menu. Anyway, my Tech said that the E63 doesn't need re-aligning, because of the air suspension. And he's right, I have no pulling issues to date. The E63 tracks straight as an arrow.

Hotrod-relator just picke up my 55 that was star lowered and thought it pulled slightly to the right. Maybe he can chime in here after the 8hr trip home. I never really noticed it pulling at all though. It also depends on what setting I was in as far as height.

Shop I use has a new hunter machine and did not complain about my car being difficult to align after being lowered via STAR 1". My car does not pull in any direction. Another reminder of why it pays to have a good shop...

Yeah mine doesn't seem to pull. Maybe slightly to the right sometimes but I heard they are suppose to pull a little to the right so if you fall asleep you don't go into on coming traffic. I really only was worried about tire wear due to negative camber. My stock wheels wore really bad on the inside cause I never got it aligned and that's a waste of tire on top of traction.

My cambers are a little bit off maximum specs for both/rear, but not by much -- I think its livable. However, I DO NOT have any pulling to one side. That just doesn't sound right.

+1 looks good. I did the same thing and worth every cent. I think its the best mod you can do for cheap. There is no load on the links so you really dont have to worry about the nut coming off. Just put loctite on there and your good to go.
