I can see this. I imagine he hammered it from a roll which is where the 996tt shines, and the e55 not so much. My e55 is yawwnnnn boring from a roll, my m3 has my butt puckered and my hands snow white. At the track, where the e55 shines, it can be a different story

A heavily modded 996 GT2 is flat out SCARY from a roll.

I remember the guy down the street from my uncle's had one and took it to Protomotive (sp?) and left it with them for almost 3 months. They returned it to him and said he will be smoking litre bikes with that car.

He moved away I think to Florida, but went to the track ... 10.1 @ 144mph.

umm,ok

Your average sportbike rider can't launch their bikes very well, especially peakier, smaller displacement bikes. I've seen plenty of "9 second bikes" running 10s and 11s

A car running 10 flat would give fits to a lot of sportbike riders.

FWIW, I drag race my 2 wheeler.

There aren't very many litre bike riders that can hit 10 flat, much less 9s like they should. So, that comment wasn't too off from that Porsche Tuner ...

P.S. I used to own an R1 and 750-R

Ahh,the car will beat the rider lol...a competent rider on a 1000 will have no problems handling any Porsche from the dig. A roll is another story, this is where the P-car's w 800+hp shine...but thats another topic.

A handful of MBW members were at the last MIR rental on 11/20,I was running 9.6's all day on an older GSXR-1000 w just a pipe&PC3..and Im 220lbs suited

Theres a guy in my area with a 750kit on his 996 and it was at the shop I go to,I ended up getting a ride in it and it made my 11s e55 feel like a honda accord 4d 1.6L

I litterally felt like I was in a sling shot,I was looking for **** to grab and saying ok OK OK while trying to freaking throw my seat belt on as 120mph came up quick.

That car should trap 145-150mph he had it at 1.4bar and sometimes goes up to 1.6

yeah, seen that vid countless times by car guys whenever this topic comes up. Point is ,I said COMPETENT RIDER...not some squid who hasnt a clue. FWIW,I also had my 100% showroom stock 2009 hayabusa there as well w less than 300mi on the odometer. I was running 9.60's w that bike all day as well. No pipe,no tune, full tank of 93 pumpgas. You would be very surprised what a skilled rider is capable of doing w a modern stock sportbike....I wont mention modded bikes since its pointless.

Im pretty sure that car will run under 960s,there was a stock turbo gtr running low 10s at my track and that gtr in the video is running 2 gt30r turbos

he also had an extra person in the car.

that would def be good enough to run with them, but certainly not smoke them. From slow speeds no way... but from say a 110mph roll certainly

yes,im well aware of what modded GTRs run as my buddy has one. that being said, once u start adding modded bikes to the equation all bets are off. My '00 Busa runs deep in the 8s &is still 100% streetable,if I had stretched my 1000 it would run 8.9s w a stock motor. Ive raced A LOT of modded turbo cars on the street&have yet to lose on any of my bikes. point is u need to come correct on a bike to run againsta high hp turbo car but they are definitely an easy taget for a modded busa or 1k w a COMPETENT RIDER,lol...just ask ItalianStallion he can vouche for that
sorry for the poor grammar im typing on my cell&my fat sausage fingers are having a tuff time lol!

If you mean the one similar on this video:

then you got the answer already . If that CL65 with 680 HP can beat that stroker car, then I can also beat him.

Trust me, there are 996's, 997's, and GT-R's that would make you think your IC pump was busted lol. And I'm not talking about fully built ones either. My GT-R has no problem handling heavily modded AMG's and M's. I've gotten my *** handed to me by other GT-R's and Porsches which wouldn't even waste their time running an MB or BMW.

This is true. I've seen 11 second cars beat 9 seconds bikes on the streets. It totally depends on the level of the rider. My friend has a 1300cc bike and he is afraid to go over 100mph lol...

Uh...I love this video buttttt the rider sucked. I've seen stock liter bikes [cough cough 118E63] annihilate fully modded Switzer Porsches and nicely modded GT-R's. Of course, past 185mph the cars will eventually catch up and pass the bikes since they top out. Otherwise, any competent rider should be able to beat even these 800hp GT-R's and Porsche from a dig or a normal speed roll. Hell, I've seen a 750cc with light mods pull these types of cars as well!

This was 118E63's bike vs my GT-R and my friend's. We were easy pray for him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzxzcngPWV8

Here is 118E63's bike against a switzer p750 Porsche 997TT with drag radials and race fuel http://www.youtube.com/user/italians.../6/DKvpVmbqp8o and again but this time the bike didn't let the porsche get the jump http://www.youtube.com/user/italians.../5/_XI6VxEfh0s

How fast are we talkin? There are a few 9 second BMWs around that would catch some people by surprise. My friend even ran BMW 17" wheels and went 9s!

A guy on the m5board up near Baltimore just did a Dinan Stroker to his M5 last month. He is still in the break-in period, but should be done soon. Hopefully, he will come out and play at some point.
