It was fired, runs great. Fuel pressure is good and adjusts up and down as expected. It will hit the dyno around noon after a couple customer cars are tuned.
I will keep you updated guys.

it was a successful pull finally. no skipping or breaking up and fuel pressure went up 1psi for every pound of boost.
on a 12lb spring, it made 500rwhp on 93 octane on the dynamics dyno. pulled it back off the dyno to put the 17lb spring in the waste gates.
as a comparison , customers car, full stage 3 on 93 pump with a 195mm cp made 505rwhp on this dyno.

That is great news. Back to the basics.
I would suggest that you eventually put a low pressure spring in the waste gate and do a 3d boost controller if you want to drive it at all other than a race car. The tt v8 cars just come on like crazy with very low throttle input. I was tuning a tt challenger transmission that was barely safe to drive on the street. At 25% throttle it would just build full boost and go.

That's usually the case. Have you given any thought to additional boost control to enable running boost beyond wastegate? There are a world of options out there.

If your just going off wastegate you have the potential to pick up a lot more power through the mid range and top end from a good boost controller eg eboost2

how would a boost controller net you more HP?
putting in the 17lb springs....

because you can not control boost through your ecu, with a sophisticated boost controller you can adjust the duty cycle. This will allow you to bring in full boost earlier and hold it until red line. This has the potential to increase peak power. 'Generally' when your only using the wastegate to control boost, boost climbs up in a linear fashion, rather then ramping up earlier, achieving max boost earlier and holding it until rev limit. This has massive potential to increase torque and mid range power and your average power through out the rev range.

Out Of Control!!
And yea I said the same thing about the boost controller lol

I ran the Eboost2 in my Lightning. Fantastic unit, and besides an AMS-1000, it would be my choice. The learning curve on the AMs is A LOT tougher though. And these guys are right Craig. Running off springs will kill your lower end. You have to think of the fact that as you start building boost, the wastegate will slowly start opening to bleed off boost until you hit the "spring rate" at which the wastegate is FULLY open. You have all that time until it builds full boost where it is bleeding off as soon as the gate starts to open (they travel pretty far). A boost controller won't allow the top port of the wastegate to bleed any boost until it hits a reference point that you set, so when you say 12 pounds, the controller won't let that gate move a single mm until 12 pounds is met, and then it will start bleeding and allow the gate to open. The Eboost 2 can do boost by gear, boost by RPM, and a bunch of other schwanky things. It also has an overboost setting so you can set your boost to 12 pounds, and overboost at 15, so if something ramps up too fast, if it hits 15 pounds, it just flat DUMPS the air, potentially saving your engine. The difference in spool up is night and day man. I promise you that. Boost comes on much sooner, and much cleaner.
It's also a "gauge". Not 2 1/16 like most, but you can still modify a pod to fit it. It's 60mm diameter. Can't wait to keep hearing about the progress man. I'm a snail fan!
