W211 AMG Bi-Xenon headlights with AFS replacements?
So, my headlights are original and they are pretty shot (linkage is all messed up and they do not move and are almost impossible to seat straight anymore). I am looking for replacements solutions. I know MB USA and in Ger no longer have left side assemblies in stock and Hella no longer has any either. Are there any other companies that make plug and play replacements? Are there any conversions out there that would work? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Would be willing buy from other countries if necessary.

Not available? I just purchased and installed in January a pair of Hella headlights that were manufactured in October and December of 2021. FCPEuro has them in stock. Not cheap but worth it.

Thanks for the link, will look them over. After talking with my mechanic and him showing me that he can recode the car to not have ACL, I may be looking a different way now. Thanks for all the help.

@bbirdwell Well you must have bought the last set of them. They have sent me 3 different left headlights all with the correct markings on the box, but all of them had regular bulb and not the Xenon HID bulbs, they also did not have the control boxes on them either. They are currently out of stock at FCPEuro. I have found a different way to attack the problem at least.

Are you looking for OE active lights or talking about getting Depo halogen when should be HID?
You will not find a single OE active set in the country. I prob got the last set about a year ago and then tore them open to do the EVO swap.

@black06c230 I was looking for OEM lights with the ACL, and yes, there are no more in the country.

I know this is a silly question, but how do I know if I have active cornering lights?
I've had them on other cars and it's pretty obvious when they are turning. But, I'm not sure if I have them on my 2003 E55. My car is pretty optioned-out. Is it listed on the build sheet? How can I tell when I look at the assembly?
Thanks!

you can check the build sheet at
www.lastvin.com option code 615
you can also check on the bottom back of the light for this little round knob like thing. This is the controller for the motor.
