722.9 TCU Tune from Weistec
Hi guys,
I have recently come across this TCU tune from Weistec: https://www.weistec.com/7-speed-tcu-tune.html
I am running:
- RENNtech Stage 2 ecu tune
- Full 3” exhaust with race cats
- downpipes
- turbo backs
= 760 horsepower and about 1200 nm on the dyno (at the crank)
Do I need a TCU tune? I mean, is there anything that I will gain with it?
I am kinda undecided if there are any benefits of doing a TCU.

Already have it on my car. I can feel it shifts a bit faster, not a massive difference though. As for launching, what is the proper way of doing it without damaging the gearbox? I don’t have LC.

I'm not sure that every tcu tune is created equally

I am actually satisfied with a Weistec TCU tune. It does what they promised - faster and more firm shifting, also the torque is unlocked and finally I can feel that the power is there all the time. All in all, it’s working well. But don’t expect significant difference, it’s just little bit better, maybe few % faster times.
