What sort of issues or symptoms are you experiencing?

Can you send the link to that one? This is what I get when searching. Be VERY careful. In the past I have been scammed by too-good-to-be-true pricing on Amazon. Check the seller thoroughly. (I did get my money back from Amazon.)

I've never seen "Pickup" as an option for Amazon. But THIS is what is only $31.27, which I am sure is a generic OBD scanner. You DO NOT want to waste your money on that one. It appears to cover only engine related stuff. The Creader Elite BENZ covers everything.

That's ok. Also, the stupid link generated by Amazon when you select the little share arrow never works.

It appears that the "new" 2.0 is a different format and has added a battery, which the handheld unit does not have. For $10 more, it seems to be worth it. If I didn't have so many damned scanners already, I'd buy it!

I can't speak to iCarsoft limitations.... LAUNCH enables us to tweak countless powerful MB options that used not to be exposed - See here....

More power to the wise, don't brake your firmware.
It is great

For a long time I have been a fan of iCarsoft. I have both the MB II and MB V3.0 tools. MB V3.0 is far superior. It's relatively simple to use and will satisfy most, if not all, of your needs as a DIYer. HOWEVER, since I started using the LAUNCH Creader Elite BENZ, it has become my favorite. It does everything the iCarsoft scanner can do and it seems a little more. I like the way it does updates by WiFi and can generate reports and email them to wherever you want. LAUNCH even offers help via email to diagnose problems. That said, either will work well. I think the LAUNCH device is a little cheaper with coupons on Amazon right now. The interfaces of the two scanners are definitely different and require a little getting used to. Lastly, for about $35 you can add other car brands, such as Honda, to the LAUNCH device if you have more than one brand of car to support. Adding a vehicle brand is done through the Mall feature.

Damn, I wish I knew about this earlier. Recommended the 3.0 to my BIL but I think this is what he would have preferred for just a bit extra. I always wanted a Launch device. Don't know that I can justify it given that I have iCarSoft MBII (works with S550), 3.0 (works with E63) and the full BenzNinja setup....

I bought the V3.0 a week ago and I'm happy with it so far. Considering I'm still within the return window, I was wondering if the launch model was an overall better tool. Think I'll stick with icarsoft

Fast forward to now: on my recommendation, and because my BIL was still in the return window for his iCarSoft MB 3.0, he bought the Launch Elite 2.0 for Benz. $190 with a $40 coupon which seems like a no-brainer when cross-shopping the iCarSoft. So he ordered it and I got to check it out last night on my 07 S550.

I ended up getting V 2.0 also. Same software, but the physical format is a little easier to use. Plus the internal battery and updated Android OS is nice. I will keep Version 1.0 in my C-Class and Version 2.0 in the SL. I need to start selling off some of my scanners! 🤪

I will post some shots of some screens. But this is impressive. I have not used a higher end Launch tool but have seen them used a million times. It is missing the network topology that the bigger Launch devices seem to give (Xentry does it, btw). But otherwise it does a TON of stuff. It does seem to support module coding which the iCarSoft absolutely does NOT. I did a full scan and was able to e-mail myself the health report and make a PDF from it. Overall I am super impressed and at $150 everyone should buy one.

+1... I couldn't agree more!

This cReader multi-core Android scanner is a must have glovebox-tool: super FAST and convenient!

Understanding the significance of scans is an art & science. Refrain from using parts canon against carefully engineered defects.

Finally getting around to some pics. Also added Launch health report to compare to Xentry on my 07 S550. I have a ton of old, stored codes that I need to delete. I guess it makes for more interesting health report comparisons. The Launch seems to report....more codes than Xentry?? I haven't done a real close comparison to see what is going on here.

But to conclude, still really like the Launch tool.

This one I think is interesting. Wonder what the different "curves" do. Also No. 073, Oil Pressure Switch Not Fitted makes you wonder where the plug is on the wiring harness that would let you "fit" the pressure switch.
