What on earth is their rationale for doing that at the last minute?

Well maybe I spoke too soon. The deal blew up in 1 day when the dealer tells me thy can't secure the car. My second choice blew up when all the extra dealer addon's would not be removed and also would not let my do a convienence trade. Third choice was the same deal. Now it was down to 2 units either a Cavansite blue or High Tech silver unit.. The silver unit won out and I am told it should land at the end of Nov. Do you think there is any risk the unit doesn't ship? It already has a vin and it ends in 4865

^^^No chance as it sounds like it's already in production. By chance, does the blue one have ceramic brakes?

Thanks for the reply. They tell me it is at the port. No CCB's on the blue unit just what they call the premium Package Intelligent drive package windshield heater and 20'' cross-spoke Forged wheels

All the Canadian cars seem to have a $250 credit for augmented reality for Navigation but will be updated free of charge as soon as it is available. Other than that I believe all other functions are intact.

In Canada, we don't get any remote function (no remote start, locate, lock, unlock, etc. ) until MY19 when Mercedes Me was available in Canada as we never got mbrace.

I believe you are getting this message because your car doesn’t have the Hermes module (cellular data) installed yet. This message is unrelated to lack of augmented reality navigation.

Of course I know that communication is crippled because of the lack of Hermes module…
Was just joking about Canadians being privileged since they get the Hermes in their cars
LOL

Alright so my car should be arriving next week. It's been a long road, and I'm very excited. Just ordered my favorite MB wheels for this wagon (the standard offering before 2021) in High Sheen with Matt Black. The grey are really nice too but with a black wagon these will work best. It's a shame they're cast but I'm a sucker for the classic 5 spoke look. No fake centerlocks for me, well at least during the winter months.

Anyway, I have some questions about Option 866 Pre-Wiring for Rear Seat Entertainment.

Does this include power supply or do you still have to run wires? And is the MB system the best or is there some aftermarket one that's considerably better?

Includes the power through the connections in the rear of the seats.

I just made the deal last week. Not sure if this was one that someone backed out of or a dealer ordered it. FYI I am in Canada

I'm in love with the new full-sized Range Rover. Said I'd never own another SUV after my beloved L322 but the 2022 will be irresistible.

The newest Defender has me much less skittish about buying first year JLR products. Nearing a year of ownership without a single issue. We traded my wife's '18 L405 V8SC for the Defender. The 405 was one thing after another. The lower climate screen was still intermittently flashing on and off when we traded.

Although, for some odd reason, I never owned one, I'm a big fan of Audi. Don't like the big front grills but love their subdued styling.

The etron would give me range anxiety. My RS7 is the best daily driver I've ever owned, but after the turbos blew (on extended warranty), I decided to move on after the warranty ended. Now if only my E63 would show up!

They're good cars that are overpriced and underperform unless they're an RS3 or an R8.
