Great lighting, great video. That interior. Those lights. Newer cast wheels look hot here too.

2024 AMG EQE SUV , 2021 E63S Wagon - gone, 2018 E63S Sedan - gone
I've decided to turn in my 2021 E63S wagon in February 2024. I'm just not driving it enough to warrant keeping it. Current miles are under 14000 after two years of ownership. The replacement vehicle will be an AMG EQE 53 SUV in Hunter Green. The characteristics of that vehicle are a great match for me. Understanding that this will be 2024 model and is currently not orderable in the US yet, but will be at the end of 2023.

And I'm driving mine too much! I'm in love with this thing. Just passed 170,000 kms on my W212 2016. I got it back from the dealer yesterday after a full alignment and wheel balance.
Man this car is awesome. It crossed my mind last night never having driven a W213 what if I'm let down when the new one comes?!
LOL

2021 AMG E63s Wagon
Wake me up before I Go Go...
Might have to return to Engineering Gig after 2026 if I wanna ADD another German Car to my collection. Will shoot for a 911 with manual transmission? Just Lobster Rolls for me until then...
Merry Christmas to All and hope all your 2023 E63s Wagon wishes are fulfilled by Santa in Affalterbach, where Dream Cars Come True!

Harris, I understand. It's a very large and expensive machine to justify if not being driven a lot. Someone will be very lucky to get your finely spec'd wagon. I know how you maintain and baby it. You should post it here and I bet someone will buy it from you. Not easy to find your spec (Graphite/Black/Ceramics) and equally not easy to find such a well-maintained car.

I.T. Guy, I can tell you the sole drawback between 212 and 213 (other than looks, arguably) is how much LARGER the 213 feels and drives. This is my least favorite element between the two generations. The 213 is nowhere as easy to drive as the 212. But in the end, for me at least, all the other upgrades outweigh this one huge negative.

Nothing! Retirement has taken complete hold. My car use is local. I used to drive to visit friends and family in Washington DC or the NY Metro Area, but now I either fly or take the train. So, an EV SUV more than meets my needs. I won't be giving up driving pleasure with the AMG SUV and my maintenance costs will be greatly diminished. I purchased prepaid maintenance when I purchased the car in 2021. The maintenance duration for the last service B was only 5700 miles. Anyway, it's been a fun wagon to drive with few issues. More to come.

Harris, AMG to AMG comparison. Or regular non-AMG to non-AMG. Doesn't matter. It's the new body design. 213 feels more SUV-like with higher hood line and poorer overall visibility.
I.T. Guy you will lose some of this feeling with the new generation.

Have you measured the seat height? I have mine all cranked up and upright. My E550 felt smaller though so I agree with the perception of size. I tried out an EQS for comparison and the sight line forward was better. I couldn't say that for the sides though.

No I haven't measured but seat positioning is a huge negative. As you know I've had two 2021 wagons and both suffered with same exact problem. I was hoping it was a defect on my first one. I just can't position the seat low enough in the position I desire. Frustrating. I like to be cradled a bit with support under my thighs (seat base tipped back) with a very straight back. In the 213 E63 the seat won't go low enough (and I'm only 5 11) and my head is literally an inch away from the headliner.

On the German Configurator you can choose special seating + / - I wonder if it’s just base brackets that can be swapped out?

Dynamics Plus Package? Glad AMG EQE53 SUV is made by AMG in Germany. Digital IWC Stop Watch is a nice touch...

I.T. Guy, I hope you will have a better experience with the E63 seats. I'm still hoping it was somehow a design flaw that's been fixed. But doubtful after having two with very different production months. The sports seats would be an absolute dream but, sadly, no longer offered in NA markets.

Another dealer just reached out, they have a grey magno car available. Not all the options or color I want, trying to decide if I want to bite or chance my build getting picked up. Anyone know what option codes 053 and 803 are? They’re listed as “Modification year 22/2” and “Technical modifications” respectively.

No idea but I have 803 Technical Modifications on my build sheet as well. No 053. Those codes aren't in ordering guide.
Is that a 2021 or 2023 they're offering you? Must be a 2023 with those codes. I wouldn't settle at this point unless it's very close to your preferred spec. If you take it, when would the car be delivered?

When he sent me the whole build sheet, it ended up being a W4 not S4 so not even in the ballpark of what I was looking for . He’s a younger kid, and the wagon/sedan codes are counterintuitive.
