go fast grocery getter wagon
Another wagon hits a dealer lot.
I'm surprised these are sitting for a while with no buyers.
Why did they cancel all our orders, then send random builds to the delears?
I think many cancelled customers said screw it and don't want random options.
So weird.
Anyhow here it is for any Canadian that wants a wagon:

i know i would be for sure as dealer offered me an allocation back in December 2022. Dealer has no clue of the prices and they did say the deposit is refundable. But i still elect to decline.
$200k + 13% taxes for a wagon … i just don’t know what to say.

Wow almost the same spec as my 2021 but 40% higher on MSRP plus now you have the Luxury Tax and GST on all of that to boot. So glad I was fortunate to get one of the last 2021's

I wish it was possible to import that car to the US....the only problem is that it requires a letter from MBUSA stating the car meets all US regulations and I'm not seeing MBUSA doing that even if the car is 100% the same as the US market one.

The no-CCB wagon that's supposed to be mine has landed at port in Halifax a week ago!

Of course I once again have more info then my salesman does, from internet strangers. LOLZ. I sent my salesman a screen shot of my car VIN offloaded at the port and asked for an update...
Still bummed it doesn't have CCB. There's another wagon in Ontario currently with CCB - but no driver's package! So frustrating. In my search I can have A or B but not A + B. Argh.

Bottom line is I have to ***** here because my wife told me to stop *****ing at home. Only you guys know my pain!
Looks like it is "missing" acoustic package, Dinamica, CCB, and maybe rear roller shades. We will see when it comes in real life I as can't tell the shades from the VIN checker. No 3d sound in a wagon so that's not really "missing" but would've been kickass too.

This was my experience as well. My dealer placed an “order” which was really more of an IoI. I waited 8 months and nothing materialized, so I pulled the order and got my deposit back. Ended up with a Panamera Sport Turismo GTS and I’m very happy with it.

Its like the factory just gave up trying to schedule options and paint and trim on the assembly line and went with “we have these parts today, just build that…”
I do not think there are any more VIN’s being assigned or I wouldn’t have lost my “allocation”. I hope for your sake I’m wrong!

when i go on autotrader, they have 46 offerings of e63 wagon for 2023... now some of those might be just automatic postings (i.e. automatically posts to autotrader when dealer gets an allocation), but some of them appear available. not sure on the pricing though. My local dealer wanted $50k over MSRP when i was looking at ordering one.

In Canada 2023 wagons are sitting on lots at MSRP not moving.
2021's are sitting at CAD$150-160 not moving.
2018-2019's are CAD$99k-$129k, not moving, and some that have been for sale for months are being re-priced with $5k price drops.
No one is clamoring for these cars in Canada. I've been watching the market since MB took my deposit last November, in case a "better" one shows up somewhere then the one MB decided I'm worthy of accepting.
