They look like ADV.1's which look like MHT wheels (well because they are made by MHT). Does MHT make these wheels too?

Yes, the centers are made by MHT. MHT manufactures wheel pieces for many, many wheel manufacturers. With that you get the quality with the flexibility that MOZ provides along with the communication through the build process. Originally Posted by radride

We are working with them to build a one off OEM replica for the Black Series but in 11" rear to run a larger tire size in the rear. Check out this thread for example. I am uploading some renderings they did on the wheel to get some feedback. https://mbworld.org/forums/clk63-bla...out-tires.html

As the Owner of advance Performance, I am always looking to establish relationships with companies that offer quality, service, and value. I work hard for my money as well. I know who makes the product that other companies rebrand. There are only so many companies who actually cut centers and only so many who make the barrels. MHT cuts centers for lots of companies as mentioned. The further you stray from the source the more you pay for no extra in quality. At this point you are paying for branding and styling. If that is your deal, then there are many companies out there ready to take your money.
Having dealt with MOZ wheels for a long time and knowing their connection with MHT and who they source their other parts from, I have always felt very secure offering their products. I deal directly with the designer and go over the parts selection for each build with him. For example, If a customer wants a black lip, I will not allow this to be done over a chrome part. This is poor form. Chrome barrels always degrade. Some brands faster than others. Powdercoating over a chrome part is always asking for trouble. We start with a raw outer. If one is not available and the customer not willing to wait, the next option is to have an in stock chrome part properly stripped and prepared for paint. Believe me, not all companies will do this when they have a chrome part hanging on the shelf. It is an added expense. To make matters worse, barrels/hoops can now be sourced from multiple suppliers including forged and cast pieces from Asia. Are you sure you know whose parts are used to make your wheel. Certain companies who do tremendous marketing are also know to use the cheapest parts to maximize profits.
Nothing is 100% guaranteed to last forever. When there is an issue, how is it resolved? This is another reason we choose the companies we do to work with. I have to stand behind what I offer and therefore have to work with brands whose ownership will do the same. There are almost as many brands of wheels as there are stars in the sky these days. No company can deal with all of them. There are some we do, some we refuse to offer, and others who just fall by the wayside. MOZ is a brand who has been great to work with for us. There are others.

Here is an example of some work we did with MOZ to build a custom wheel that contained elements and some of the look of the OEM Alpina B7 wheel for a customer. Not a Mercedes but a good example of quality work on a high end vehicle like you have.
PM me if you are in the market for wheels and we can work something out.

Great looking wheels. Very clean and functional look. Why no 18" size? My C230 Sport Sedan has 17" and the rear tire is a 40 series. If I go to a 19", the rear is down to a 30 series. That is too short a sidewall to have any comfort or protection from rough roads and potholes. Please consider a mesh wheel in 18", staggered. Thanks.

18" is an option, depends on the style/wheel you are looking for. MOZ does not list that sizing on their website but it is an option. If you have a specific wheel in mind and are ready to spec out sizing we can do that. Just PM me.
