Brabus 800 S Coupe: Perfectly-blended Luxury & Brutality
Youtuber can’t stop blasting down the freeway in the 800-horsepower, Autobahn-slaying Mercedes S63 on steroids.
You may or may not admit it, but many of us buy Mercedes cars based on their “cool” factor. After all, M-B is perhaps the most recognized and revered luxury brand in the world. Everybody knows what that legendary three-pointed star means when they see it. Thus, it’s no surprise that many of the world’s richest and most important people drive (or get driven in) a Mercedes. But if you want to achieve top baller status, it’s hard to top the mighty Brabus 800 S-Class Coupe.
At least, that’s what mega-popular YouTuber Shmee150 thinks, whose real name is Tim Burton. And quite honestly, it’s hard to disagree. Brabus takes what is already an incredible machine in the regular old Mercedes S-Class Coupe and adds a boatload of extra power. To the tune of 800 raging ponies and 738 lb-ft of torque. Add in a slew of carbon aero bodywork, active exhaust, and some attractive wheels, and you’ve got a car fit for your average NBA superstar.
It’s no wonder that our host calls it “one of the coolest cars you can buy. It mixes luxury with technology to become the ultimate powerhouse. There aren’t many better ways to get about than in one of these.” It certainly looks the part too, with a menacing black monotone treatment throughout.
All of which makes this ultimate Mercedes a fantastic low-speed, head-turning cruiser. “You start driving in this car, and it feels like a quiet, luxurious vehicle,” our host notes. “It is incredible smooth. The ride is gentle.” But when you pull off the boulevard and onto the highway, things get even better. “This is where the numbers just pick up so effortlessly,” he says. “You really get a sense that it could just fly down the Autobahn.”
So yes, the Mercedes Brabus 800 S Coupe can truly do it all. It can make you look like a celebrity, even if you aren’t. And it can leave almost everything in the dust at speed. Which, in our book, means that this slick machine represents the very peak of baller status.
