I went to Auto Zone to see if they had any blues ones. But no luck. I think the bulb number was 17117.
Time to search and see if I can find some LED ones.

10000K HIDs
I did some searching to find out if 10K would be a good choice for HIDs?
I see that 12K the visibility is not that great at all.
Do I go down to 8K?
Suggestions....
(I plan to do the fogs at a later time)

here's 57 pages to your answer https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...nt-thread.html
high the temp = lower the lumen. the highest lumen range comes from between 4300k to 6000k.
and make sure you read this too https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...e-posting.html

Butthead that's where I ordered them from.
I was not going to read 57 pages started in 2003. I did skim the last few pages.
This thread does not relate to STFF.

you can also find many information on it online. here's one example http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache...ient=firefox-a however the last bit is incorrect as a sales pitch.
for example I have the Philip CrystalVision Ultra on the W204 and the color temp is around 4000k. It's lumen rating is just below the 4300k HID. AND I can tell you it illuminates much better than any HID kit higher than 6000k.

Not yet, I got the same ones as you. I saw the outputs on a few people cars here and it looked fine for me. Will see... It was only $60 shipped.
Can you post a pic of yours? I had one in another thread but the mods got merge happy last night.

i got the philips ultinon 6000k bulbs and i love them...they're the best color selection and light the road up the best...they just suck on black top because the road just absorbs the light rather than reflecting it but you can still see the reflecors and anything thats on the road...5500k is the ideal for both output and visual aesthetics!
