Bi-X: W203/CL203 OEM Bi-XENON Upgrade, Auto-Levelling & Programming thread
But tifosiv122, you can still turn off the drl's in the US even if they are xenon's.
And they only run at full intensity because this is the only way they can run. I think they turn off if you try to lower the wattage.
So anyway anyone know a good place I can go to install my xenon light? and which dealer I can go to for the xenon funtion turn on and who should I speek to? I try felcher jones and they are giveing me hard time about turning on the xenon funtion..
THX in advance for the help =)

Now is the questions time!
Q: When I turn on my lights, and watch the beam projected on a white wall, The light is blue/purple for the the first 15secs, then it slowly changes to yellow/white, maybe more to the yellow side. Is this normal?? Why is it like that?
Q: People said Bi-xenons have high beam as xenon as well. But my high beam is yellow??? However, I have change all my bulbs (ie: daylight and high beam to piaa plasma, so that solves my problem.) But the question is what the hell is bi-xenon if my high beam is yellow before i changed the bulb??
The product from steve is excellent and i still dont regret. It looks awesome, but these are some critical question i need to clarify. So If someone has answers to my questions please reply.

mine loses the blue/purple after 15secs i turn them on. Correct me if Im wroing pls. Thx
you answer to my second question is great. Thx.
If you want to keep the bluish tone, I suggest getting a higher temp like a 6000k bulb for it.
You probably need to aim them aswell, try looking at your lights from a distance and not standing up over them.
I believe the stock HID bulbs are 4300k.
They should not look yellow, they should look white. Compare them to a car w/ halogens, then you'll see yellow.

It's a direct replacement bulb. I believe Autowerks has carries them. Autowerks Direct

Just to clarify things,
c class, I hope you are talking about bi xenons not halogens.

] I like to have my car ready for the light
thx in advance!
I would wait for the lights before activating the xenon. First your dealer may not want to activate the xenon, especially when there's no bi-xenon lights installed. Second, your regular lights might malfunction, because the computer is reading xenon, not halogens. You really would like to do these things one time (install, programming, and light alignment). I know your excited, but this is the way I did it. Hope this helps.
