Android 10.25 Screen Unit
2 Scenarios can happen. If it's the same app then it gets updated and you will have the latest version, or if Autoplay is a completely different app then you will know as you will have 2 different apps in your app drawer, both called carplay.
Absolute worse case scenario if you completely mess up the unit, you can always just hold the reset pin on the side and go back to factory state.
I upgraded to the file you pointed to. Unfortunately, it looks like my box is not "authorized." Now it doesn't work at all. Where did you purchase your box? Maybe I should just get a new one that's updated.
If you're interested in it PM me and I can send you a payment request and ship it out.
There are different versions. Try this one, I guess this will work for you if the previous one didn't.

Update on the CarPlay issue. The adapter box I got from DMP Audio was not compatible. I got the version from Ungarish and it seems to be working perfectly.
Anyone have any success tethering the iPhone hotspot via USB to the android unit VS creating a wifi hotspot? With the iPhone wifi hotspot, it does not show up as an available network until I enter the hotspot screen under settings on iPhone. It would be nice if it were more seamless and auto-connect without having to manipulate the iPhone.
EDIT:
Any tips on how to update the CarPlay adapter box? It says the box adapter is too low and needs update via U disk.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I remember watching a video where the guy was explaining if you mix up two of the plugs, you will only get sound coming out of some of the speakers. I can’t remember which plugs they are, but they are the only two that look alike. I guess it seems to be a common problem because he made a separate video explaining this.

Is there a way to make the MUSIC app on the home screen to like Pandora?
I tried to move few apps to an external SD card (programmed) as internal but keeps showing "not enough space" and rejects the transfer.
Something around post 21 in this thread may help you out..

So I've dug through 12 pages here, and watched as many youtubes as I can find however I cant seem to find an answer to my problem. I picked up the unit from DMP and everything is plugged in and working find, however I have no sound. Zero, zilch, nada, none. I can connect to the bluetooth on either the car or the screen, and both shows music playing, however no sound. I double checked the connection to the radio, and reseated it fully. Still no sound. Went back through and quadrupled unteenmillion checked the A/B A thing as well.
In going back through all my connections I noticed that I have a couple extra wires coming out of my main harness that isn't included in the patch harness in the kit. I'm thinking this is my issue but I have no idea how to remove them from the main harness. FWIW I have the harmon kardon system, 2013 W204.
The two I'm talking about are the orange wires, top left in the first picture, and top right in the second picture.

Raymond Urias - Tricks video
Hope this helps.
Also in this meny you can go to the full android system settings, though a lot of the sub-menu's are taken out.
I will definitely try to root and load to SD card tomorrow, I need to download the offline map to whole SoCal so I dont have to keep tethering my phone. Oh, and google maps does not lag for me either. I have my antenna on the dash behind the center channel grill mesh.
