What did you do to your C63 today?
Slower tight corners it still has more understeer than I'd like with 275s up front but I'm working on more front downforce and a balance change.
It loves long sweepers. Having 400+ lbs rear downforce at 200kph helps though.
A 7-800 lbs loss is like having stage a 1 SC. I have been asked which blower I have a few times

The carpet had some heft to it.

Recaro seats with mounting brackets around 35lbs each, my stock E63 seats are probably over 70lbs each so it should be a nice chunk of weight savings.

- Remove complete sunroof.
- Tape template material onto the roof to trace the opening from inside the car (I used thick underlay paper)
- Draw a cut line on the inside of the trace minus the thickness of whatever molding you use with some wiggle room to create a template.
- Use the template to cut out the polycarbonate panel. (I used a Jig Saw with a fine tooth blade for plastic)
- Tape the window molding to the poly panel so you can do a dry fit first.
- Glue the molding to the poly panel.
- Glue the assembly into opening (just like you would with a windshield. I used 3M window adhesive)
- I had to use weights on all 4 corners because of the roof contour and left it on for a day or so. (Whatever the cure time was on the adhesive)
It was relatively simple, just time consuming. Has been in the car since 2021 without issue.

May be more information in there if you dig around a bit.
