20x10 275/30/20 Nitto Invo

Not sure on the offsets, likely somewhere in the 40's for both F & R.
KW SportComfort coilovers, no rubbing at all.

Here is my setup:
Velocity Motoring VMR 721 wheels
F: 19x8.5 ET35 235/40-19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport
R: 19x9.5 ET 45 265/35-19
Schrader 28214 TMPS sensors
No rubbing with stock suspension even with taller tires to reduce fender gap. Had good luck with VMR wheels on my Audi S4 so decided to give them a try on the E550. MB wheel caps do not fit these wheels so I bought some MB logo wheel center cap stickers off Ebay to cover the supplied wheel caps.

Very happy with this setup. Handling, tracking and grip all improved over OE wheels and tires.

Everybody should note that above tire sizes were ONLY possible due to stock suspensions were replaced by KW coilovers.

I drove the car with these wheels on and stock suspension and it was fine, in fact I even had 295/25/20's on the rear and it was okay. I lowered it with the coils and the 295's just barely rubbed the fender on big bumps, that's one reason why I sized down to a 275/30. The other reason is that a 295 on a 10" wheel looks like a square block, too wide and doesn't match the contour of the front tire.

Well I do not know what else was required to fit 295/25-20 on stock's rear since I did not even try it, but I know for sure that there's no way to fit 245/35-20 upfront on stock suspension. For 245/35-20 front coliovers are required. Unless Canadian cars are so different from US, there's just no way for unmodified suspension due to perch protrusion. We have tried that without any success on several E550/E350 coupes and even E350 sedans (which have more room).

Perhaps because I have the dynamic suspension with the adjustable sport/comfort mode. Struts and perches may be skinnier than the standard setup? Maybe it's just a freak of nature haha

Or maybe you want to check your own posts here: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-c...010-e550c.html

As per above you had 245/30-20 front (not 245/35-20) on stock suspensions. I know 100% that there is zero chance of 245/35-20 fitting front on stock suspensions. It is possible only with coilovers (which you have now hence makes it possible).

Yea I mistakingly typed the wrong number, should be 245/30/20, not 245/35/20. Good catch. Can't edit my post for some reason.

The offsets are OK.For the rear you should use maximum 275/30 and for the front the correct set up is 245/30.This is my set up for the winter.

Wheels will fit with no issues. We know that tires will fit with "perfect" offset.

FYI: as can bee seen in Nawlinstornado's above post, he's running:
19" x 8.5 ET40 Front
19" x 9.5 ET45 Rear
255/35 front tires
285/30 rear tires.

In one of his previous posts he mentioned that he has zero issues and front could even use lower offset (et35 or so). So "your" front is right there, while rear is only 3mm "in". Worse case you could use 1-3mm spacers at the rear if there're any inside rubbing.

Overall, I see no issues with above.
