Help me mod a 2018 GLC43

I'm looking at possibly purchasing a 2018 CLC43 from a local dealer. It is in excellent condition, no scratches or dings or rattles. I am trading my 2017 C43 cabriolet and a 2021 Kia Telluride. I'm leasing the Kia. Love both cars, but I have 3 teenage boys that are starting to drive and need to consolidate cars and reduce insurance/monthly payments. In a couple years I want to get the new GLC63 or 65 or whatever it will be called. Going to the 2018 eliminates payments on the lease and I actually make a small profit on both vehicles relative to what I paid for them. Anyway, the 2018 is pretty loaded but the center console trim and door trim is in the glossy brown wood and does have some scratches (only places I could find noticeable scratches). I want to change that trim out to the matte black ash wood or something similar. I also want to change to the panamerica grill. And, since it doesn't have the Burmeister sound I'll probably upgrade the speakers/amp but nothing crazy. Might also upgrade the wheels at some point.

Can anyone recommend where I can find the correct dash wood and door panel trim kit? And panamerica grill? Any other help appreciated. I may try and do this myself but I'm not a mechanic and don't mind paying for labor to get this done well.

Thanks!

In regards to the wood trim, the easier method is probably a wrap, you can then change it to something you like if you don't like it you can use a different wrap.

As for the sound system, I forgot if there are differences between the GLC and the C, there might since one is an SUV and one is a sedan but here are the threads I found anyways, hopefully it still end up being helpful:
Alright let's go...
Here is a thread to start with (the thread is 20 pages long and began back in 2016, some links are no longer valid (https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...ml#post8115146), try to read the more recent posts and go from there, you don't have Burmester so I guess your options could be retrofit Burmester or get a whole new aftermarket system altogether:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post7962453

Here is a thread talking about how to add a subwoofer (again it is for a Burmester system)
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...er-system.html

Here is an aftermarket setup:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...lass-w205.html

and another aftermarket setup :
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...stem-done.html
yet another aftermarket setup (but it yet again has Burmester to begin with):

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-jl-audio.html
YAAS (yet another aftermarket setup): https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...pic-heavy.html

Here is an interesting thread about Burmester:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post6766672

The Burmester ones might not be applicable to you but it should give you a general idea of what to expect.
More info (comparison) on both the FrontBass and Burmester setup:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...subwoofer.html

I came across this, the upgrade applies to the facelift though and specifically for the W205's audio system:

Thanks for the links, I will start reading. I've read some already as I've had the C43 cabrio for a couple years. I'm not surprised to see what's actually installed behind those fancy Burmeister grills. I think most of the "highend" factory systems are trading on their name brand. Burmeister is a very high end audio brand with amps costings almost as much as my car, so I don't think they're going to have a true "Burmeister" sourced system for $1000. I have found this to be true with almost every stock "high end" audio system I've heard. I do like the look of the grill covers though and could pop them on if they don't degrade the sound.

You're welcome. I am not an audiophile so I actually don't know if the speaker cover will affect sound quality I would think it would because of resonance. Hopefully someone else chimes in.
