Also, look at the competition. They are all less than Mercedes. BMW has been handily beating Mercedes and that has gotten worse - assuming that matters. The GLE has kept up but, what has happened to GLC sales?

GLE 450s were the shortest model supply, 350s were short in '20 but caught up end of year.
All those with less than 40 - 50 days have pricing power.
In 2020 and early 2021, MB faced 7 - 8 days supply. Many Dealers had zero, with less than 10 days In Transit over the next 30 days. I think they began catching up mid '22.
I just showed the most recently available data. You can dive deeper at ***, Ward's and Crain publications.
It's still "misleading" until you get into Take Rates for various option packages. Then you see what models were delayed by supply chain bothers. And regional differences,. Too detailed for me.
I'm not making any brand comparisons; just presenting data.

Yeah, mercedes is selling every single one they make, so people don't seem to mind yet.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I’ve had a GLE53 Coupé ordered since last month at my dealer. I have a confirmed June23 build date, GLE53C’s aren’t starting until June for sure.
A few notes:
- MSRP has very much increased due to the newly standard options, a Pinnacle base model starts now at $93.1k, so a bare bones base 53C should be ~$89.8k. I am optioned out almost entirely, so my build is right at $109.5k.
- a lot of stuff is delayed, mostly paint colors, but also annoyingly to me is the AMG fuel cap.
- the red brake calipers which come on the 63 and could be obtained with the Dynamic Plus Package (not an option anymore) are for sure no longer available with 53. The best you can do, is what I did, and piece together Active Ride Control, silver high performance braking system and Track Pace as individual options.
- 3D Burmeister seems to indeed no longer be an option, was personally a bit let down with this as well.
Hope this helps anybody interested, as I’ve been bugging my dealer almost weekly who has graciously messaged me as soon as he has updates haha. Attached my order sheet below (MSRP is still unavailable in order system, but it’s confirmed).

!!! My mistake you ordered a coupe not an SUV !!!
Wow I had ordered or submitted to dealer an order for a 2024 GLE 53, if that's true and the base price is now $89,000 that's a big increase from the
the $76950 current base price. That's a price increase of 16% that's a huge increase. So they added a few options, the additions were not worth $12,950.

Options currently not available:
- Magic vision wipers
- Burmester 3D
- High performance AMG brakes (Red calipers)
*Side note: any reason why the 21” wheels are the only wheels not available with summer tires?
I am guessing the 21 wheels being 21s have more difficulty and options to source tires from as opposed to smaller sizes? Unless the 22 is available with summer tires?
