CLS55 vs 06 Z06
The light turned green and for some reason he didn't punch it so since I was looking for him to start and not the green light I didn't either. I was giving him the taunt revs while we rolled away from the light just around 15mph and then he floored it. He probably got 1/4 a car length ahead of me before I floored it too. I quickly caught him and very slowly pulled away about a car length. After that distance he might have gained another 1/4 car on me and was held there until we had to break at about 120mph. At the next light he rolled down his window and asked "is that one of those AMGs?" Yes I said. He replies "wow.. that thing is fast". I gave him the thumbs up and went home with 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk of my 4 door that just took one of the finest 2 door sports cars America has to offer.
I love this car.

This may be true but my K1 mod gave the the advantage to take the Z06. Sorry I didnt mention my K1 Mod in the story but it is in my signature. The stock CLS55 & Z06 0-60 and 1/4 mile are very close. But pushing 456rwhp and 570 ft/lbs of torque keeps me in the lead from a roll and a dead stop. I would like to find a friend with one so I can try many runs like I did with the Viper and the F430.

it not only about power, the z06 weighs about 1100 (a little more) less than ur car.
That day at the track the Z06 never broke into the 11's in the 1/4 mile. I would say that the CLS would hold its own and have its own breakfast.

How do you like the K2 mod over the K1, or did you go straight to the K2?
I hear fantastic things about the LSD. My tech says it will immediately take .5 sec off my 0-60. What are your thoughts?
stock CLS with stock z06, from a dig and a roll it would be an easy kill for the Z06
K1 CHIP and PUlley E55/CLS55 vs ZO6 from a dig or a roll it would be close, but the top speed of the Z06 will kick in after 125mph+
K2 chip, headers, pulleys, LSC, ect. vs Stock Z06, K2 from a dig and roll. However you won't find many stock Z06's. Pretty soon you will see many Z06 owners will blowers, I/H/E, chips.. ect
I total believe this story, becuase shifting a car takes alot more precision than steppin' on the pedal. With a good driver and knowledgable one, it would be hard to beat.

a properly driven z06 will pull on a k2
weight to power
z06 6.4lb/hp
k2 cls55 7lb/hp
i used 3200lbs for the z06 and 500hp (its lighter than that, and supposedly the engine is making more like 550hp, i read that on numerous occasions)
cls i used 4200 and 600hp (not sure what the k2 brings it up to)
and lets not forget driveline loss for the auto vs. stick
and the vettes 6 gears vs. 5 for the cls

what gives u that assumption?
i assume people buy high end (fast) cars to say **** the law and then brake it on every possible occasion
