not fair either way his product wins. It will be a good day and other then his ic upgrade I am done unless they find a way to make that tranny hold more. If I get the same 40whp that car saw I will be pushing 620-625whp and I am sure that is max for that tranny. We dont even know what the torque increase was? So is that about 760hp with a 18% dt loss? That is a vr760 kit then.

Well, If 620-625whp is What You Expect To Have After This VRP Upgrade, It's Going To Be A Close Race Between Us and That's Just With My "Havoc Stage 1 5.7 VR750 Kit". You Will Defiantly Have To Up Your Modds To Surpass The "Havoc Stages 2 and 3"!

Hey Havoc.... This V12QT guy isn't worried!!!

We've got some Tranny mods in the works, so I'm not too concerned about it. A LITTLE concerned, but not too concerned.

Just don't run slicks, and have some big turbos in the back that take a while to spool up, and beef up the tranny, change the cam profile to boost the hp while taming the torque, and things ought to be OK.

We'll see..

"Brave HEART"...LOL...We should be happy...Cause his car will be used and his money will be spent for R&D...then we should get a proven package...on well some of US..those who will still have E55s by that time or will want to spend thart much money on old model...

BY the time you will be making or if your are going to be making "throuble free" 1000HP on your SL55... BiTurboAMG probably will move to other car already... new SL is coming out soon...

Yes it has been done before but not on a benz. There isnt even a aftermarket turbo kit for any newer benzes. Its because tuning and fueling is pretty much nonexistant. I could have all the hardware fabbed up in no time, thats not the problem

How are you guys gonna work these quad turbos? Is the point to run smaller turbos with the same boost as two monster ones? That will create a lot of heat. I am very excited to see how this will work.

Wow, looks like we got a little rivalry going on here

The whole point in an AMG is ridiculous power in a completely drivable and luxurious package. When the car gets to the level you can't drive it anymore, it kind of becomes pointless. Havoc, if your only goal is street domination, you should go with a twin turbo Viper! 2,000hp and sub 8 second 1/4 miles .

I think the SL65 with turbo swap (or quad turbos ) should take a bored and turbo'ed SL55. It just seems to make more sense.

Is there going to be a tranny swap done? Or just re-strengthened?
