2024 AMG EQE SUV , 2021 E63S Wagon - gone, 2018 E63S Sedan - gone
Must be due to the continuing supply chain issues.

This was the reason why I posted: it’s to ask about the LSD situation. Is there a mechanical LSD available or are they all open/e-diff or something else completely different.
This is where it becomes a big concern to me if it’s not available to spec out with an LSD.
I realize I’m probably sounding oblivious to the w213

Has anyone been able to order the 5 twin spokes? That's one of the options my dealer changed to another wheel and I really want the twin, scared it will get stuck at cross spoke.

Very happy to see this thread! I’ve got an allocation for a 2023 final edition WAGON not sedan!
Supposedly one of 12 final editions and no set number on how many are sedans and how many are wagons. Pricing is 170,000 Canadian. Hard to do competitive on these as it seems people will pay what they are listed for. I’m shocked to see Vancouver has so many allocations for a wagon.
From previous comments the tax on over 100k is insane. But in Alberta the lack of PST helps.

e63 wagon was my first choice so I will be calling Mercedes Vancouver and Richmond to see if there are allocations still and what is the eta on those wagons.

Alright now I think I want brown paint. But the beige is too light, the brown on brown will be too much brown, and I’m unsure of black.
Why is there no tan?
I’m going in to the dealer Thursday to try and finalize things.

I'm just spewing thoughts now LOL. No brown paint available
I really like this interior below
So my first choice for paint is now High Tech Silver Metallic however I think the Selenite Gray Metallica would look better with Nut Brown. And if I go that route, better to get darker wheels too. Argh. This changes everything, I'm losing sleep over it. LOL.
I'm googling for the lighter High Tech Silver Metallic w/nut brown and wood to see what it looks like... anyone seen anyone do the lighter silver with nut brown?

^^^That interior is gorgeous. Consider Graphite. It's a superb color and has a lot of brown in it. Makes for a killer combination with the brown interior. Mine was graphite/brown. (Oddly enough I didn't like it at the time because it looked so brown under certain lighting conditions. Wasn't expecting this at the time. In retrospect, it was a great color and would be my first choice today.) Silver will work but I'd lean more to black interior with a classic German Silver. Another thought, be careful with that light brown interior trim. There's a lot of trim and a lot of brown. The nut brown reads much lighter in the sun and may be too close to the light brown trim. My two cents... too much brown.

Thank you! That lighter sliver is rocking the brown OK better then I thought it would. I think I've settled on the "too much brown" I love it in pics. It's like I'm inside a cigar lounge. Might fall asleep with stop/start turning off at a light getting a heated massage. Heh.
My dealer has made me nervous. Kept saying "just a place holder" so I wasn't really too worried they messed up some options. So then I emailed him the order guide posted here and he emailed back "You better come in and cross check with our ordering team" wait, what?! So I'm there tomorrow and will try to "change" my interior to the nut brown with wood, and the color MAYBE to a darker silver/gray. I might just leave it light, but am leaning towards this look now:

The 23 E63s wagon with a V8 is definitely the final go.
I was just speaking to my dealer here in Canada (MB Thornhill) and they have received a directive/information bulletin from MB Canada (early November) that there will be no W214 E63s wagon or sedan. The E53 will be the top dog of the new gen E class. There is no mentioning of whether a W214 E53 wagon will be coming to Canada.
Lastly, MB Thornhill has confirmed they have gotten 4 allocations and none have been taken as of today (11/16/22) for the configurable E63s wagon. Projected delivery is mid summer 2023.

No doubt…there will not be a W214 E63…hence the W213 E63 ‘Final Edition’. However, that does not necessarily mean the E53 will be “top dog”…I expect somebody made an incorrect assumption…as I’ve said before, it would make no sense, since we know the C63 is coming.

If there is a badge "E63S" for W214 and suppose they will use the same setup as the new gen C63S, the latter's weight ballooned by 700 lbs (if I recalled correctly), can you imagine the weight of this new gen E63S ?? assuming they are using same/similar powertrain setup ... that will balloon to like 5300+ lbs, that's GLE or even close to GLS territory per se. It may have the monster power but the weight simply kills the handling.

^ Not saying I’d be interested in a hybridized E73 or whatever they call it…would depend on cylinder count…could be 4, 6, or 8…but I think it’s naive to think it won’t be happening.
Edit: FWIW, the ‘AMG Specialist’ I spoke with at a big So Cal earlier this week said it will be the hybrid V8 based on recent communication with Germany. Not that I believe anything a salesman tells me.

At the risk of disagreeing with you, the Graphite Grey doesn't have brown undertones. That said, I thought that it did under certain lighting conditions, but then found out that my cataracts were responsible for the coloration. Once I had them removed and adressed with surgery, the color lost the brown tone.
Alas, like the M3 Touring, certainly not for us in the US. But, yes, there will be a V8 M5 coming in the next generation, which is why there has to be something significantly more than an E53 from AMG, even if it's not called E63.

Well I gave salesman a heads up to show me cars with the nut brown today.
Still struggling with paint color.
My w212 was so easy to "spec". I was only shopping CPO and I missed two by hours so the 3rd one I didn't care what the colors were I just said "I'LL TAKE IT" and got used to it.
This color decision making is very enlightening to me that I have problems.
I'm concerned that in a month or year I'll hate it. "That's sooooooooooo 2023"

I remember those harsh winters off Lake Ontario at the University of Rochester. June to early September were the only months for great weather and Euphoria until the overcast sky blues set in. Molsons made me happy...

I went to the dealer yesterday and sat in a brown interior car. It is very nice but it's not for me _on this car_. Maybe on an S class or G or Maybach, Bentley, Rolls etc. etc. but not on my AMG Wagon. I decided I'd be happiest keeping it light, crisp and sporty. So with the help of the German Configurator playing with the options and 360 view my final specs and colors are chosen! I know I've settled on the right choice as I'm suddenly very excited. I actually lost sleep last night. Like a kid on Christmas. THAT's how it's supposed to feel! I'm finally genuinely stoked about this order.
