You can find them on line at a couple of places, but by the time you add freight costs, they are the same as the ones on e-bay.

Very cool, ive already found some on ebay!

Although the ones I have found do not come with lightbulbs.. Do you guys know what lightbulb i could get to go with it?

Im trying to get more into this stuff (admittedly, its not hard - very fun actually) and I found the repair and service dvd on ebay for 25 bux! Have you guys used these DVDs/Books as references? Have they been useful?

Thanks!

Question Clear Front Bumper Lights

Has any body changed the front bumper lights to clear lights on a 2006 C230? How do you reach them to change them out?

i have..i got a pair of white sidemarkers not those crappy euro clear diamond ones..i got em from ebay..for like 40 bucks..good quality..easy jus get a flat head and cover with a cloth pop it out from the side that faces the front of the car..twist out bulb and pop back in the opposite way..took me a whole 3 mins to do mine..they look awesome id recc. getting hyper whites for the side marker bulbs b/c they have a yellowish bulb in stock..the only prob with mine is that theyre not as snug as the oem markers..they tend to get water behind it..but it dries and doest actually get insde because the bulb is gasket sealed..so it doesnt really hurt the sidemarker...

Cool thanks. I thought I had to go under the car to reach them. So they just pop out through the exterior?

Side Markers for 2002 C-230 OEM Replacements???

Hey guys and gals....

I have an '02 C-230 and both of my side markers/turn signals in my bumper are cracking and the one is completely broken.

Is there anyone who knows where to get OEM Replacment Side Marker Lenses in either Smoked or Clear ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Merged 9 sidemarker threads together. These sidemarkers are applicable for the 240, 230, 230k, 280, 320, 350, C32 w203's. I'm not positive on the C55's, but hopefully this will clean up a bit of the search mess.

yes, i have searched the threads and have found nothing about where to buy them. I'll I have read is about guys buying these crapy lenses that don't fit and that the stores will replace them with ones that fit.

I want a personal opinion of someone who has purchased such a thing to point me in the right direction.... if i knew about this stuff, i would not be here, i search ebay and i find these generic clear led ones....

Anyway, any more help would be nice, thanks for merging my thread with one that has no information.

You need to calm yourself down and slow your role NEWBIE (consider yourself warned - trust me, I'm the last one you want to have attitude with because if you get on my bad side...that's not good, cuz there aren't many (if any at all) on this forum that are on my bad side).

What I did was merge, not just your thread, but 9 (YEAH, I SAID IT 9) threads that were all pertaining to the same subject matter! Instead of starting a new thread, you should've posted in one of the 8 other threads that were related to see if anybody had any better experiences with the clear lenses. One way or another, you would've found an answer.

Now, if you read through the many pages of this now merged and very relevant thread (yes, 1 thread) purtaining to clear sidemarkers, you will see that majority of the ones that are purchased from ebay. You are correct, these are definitely a "hit" or "miss" item.

Next time, if you want a personalized reply, either pm somebody who seems to have had good experience with a particular company OR reply in a thread that has related material. Creating a new thread on a topic that has been debated and discussed many times does nothing except make the search function that much more inefficient.

Drexappeal...... I'm not here to get on your bad side. The reason i didn't reply to the existing threads is because they are pages and pages long, and honestly, i thought my new thread would get more hits and be more effective.

Anyway, i'm not here to get in arguments, i'm here to get/give information about topics. I just want to find someone who has aftermarket lenses that are a good true fit, not some cheap lense from who knows were from cambodia... u know?

Anyway, I have pm'd some people who i've seen their pictures but no replies yet.... i just want to know where people have had good luck finding nice clear lenses for the side markers. I hate the orange color especially since the car is black and i don't want to buy them from the dealer so they can rape me... its bad enough they do it to my service bill.

Anyway the car is 4 years old and in my opinion the lights should not be rotting away and cracking off.... i have a beater 1986 Chevy Sliverado Truck that i use for "playing and stuff around the house" and it has factory lights, side markers and everything, and they're just fine...

so the moral of the story is that i would like info on where others have found good aftermarket lenses... otherwise i'm just going to foot the bill and go to the dealer and see what kidn of deal they'll make me on two new ones...

The reason they are pages and pages long is because...

1) There's alot of information to weed through, provided you are not lazy...
2) Every 10th post or so actually has info you can use, provided you are not lazy.
