Sidemarkers
Anyway, i'm not here to get in arguments, i'm here to get/give information about topics. I just want to find someone who has aftermarket lenses that are a good true fit, not some cheap lense from who knows were from cambodia... u know?
Anyway, I have pm'd some people who i've seen their pictures but no replies yet.... i just want to know where people have had good luck finding nice clear lenses for the side markers. I hate the orange color especially since the car is black and i don't want to buy them from the dealer so they can rape me... its bad enough they do it to my service bill.
Anyway the car is 4 years old and in my opinion the lights should not be rotting away and cracking off.... i have a beater 1986 Chevy Sliverado Truck that i use for "playing and stuff around the house" and it has factory lights, side markers and everything, and they're just fine...
so the moral of the story is that i would like info on where others have found good aftermarket lenses... otherwise i'm just going to foot the bill and go to the dealer and see what kidn of deal they'll make me on two new ones...
When I say they are "hit or miss", I mean that some people purchase from a vendor on ebay and get a set of bad fitment sidemarkers, some purchase from the same vendor and get good fitment. No matter what vendor it is, these are all most likely manufactured by 1 company.

and fstblckpresiden, all you need to do this right are a towel and a screwdriver, hell you don't even need that, you can pry them off with your fingers! just start pulling at the piece at the front of the car...
you should change your screenname, looks like Obama is gonna beat you to it.
it's super easy BUT! when i got mine b/c it was new and a bit stiff i had to use a bit of elbow grease to get her in there. she was tight!
anyway...it can bend so dont be afraid to giver a bit it wont break. look at how the cuts are made so you can see where to push and pull from. euro markers are hot and a must if your car takes them

anyway, i would just buy euro impact strips or paint the OEM markers to match the bumper...clear markers are tacky (IMHO). and dont fit well!
don't people know how to STFF anymore
Just curious, does everyone seem to prefer the clear or colormatched lens over euro strips? IMO the euro strip is the only way to go. It looks so much cleaner than any lens ever will.
Oh and I like the crazy paving print on your driveway

John. For me, I just like the light...although, I'm thinking of just color matching the OEM's I just bought from someone.

Here's another thread from a while back re: sidemarkers

it's funny that this was a little more than just a year ago...
for those that don't know, I bought Drex's OEM ones!
